No I don't live in poverty, nor have I been diagnosed with a terminal disease. But I hate my life. My family hates me, I have no friends, I'm fat and ugly, I'm not smart, or outgoing, and I have no skills or athleticism. And I'm to lazy/stupid to fix any of this. I hate my life. What do I do?
Your too lazy to fix any of this WELL THERE'S YOUR FUCKING PROBLEM. You hate your current situation but you are too lazy to do anything about it. If you hate whats going on now but don't feel like fixing it then deal with it. Or you could man up and do something about it, life isn't going to hand you happiness on a plate, earn it.
Welcome to real life, it's shitty. Just become an alcoholic like the rest of us* *me
Oh no, another "everyone hates me time to bitch" thread. Look OP, I have schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, I used to be very depressed and I was scoffed at every day at school for it. I made it through. Now sometimes people come to me about their problems. I say "Why can't you fix it yourself?" They say "too lazy." At that instant, I give up. Just what the fuck? That's no excuse and I don't see why someone would use it as one anyway. Get up and fix it yourself, or if you're having very bad problems, go see a therapist, which is also considered fixing it yourself because you were the one who got the help. Now go out and be somebody.
Oh I think I know who you're talking about. To the OP, don't worry, it will get better.
the trouble is that while your problems have simple solutions, they all just take a long time to get sorted out. like obviously to become more social you just need experience, and a lot of it... you need to just start socialising, start small, and just do that all the time. same idea for the rest of your problems. just start exercising and keep at it. but you probably are stuck by not having the determination to go out and do those things. like they're all simple problems but to someone like you the work is just discouraging. you should take the time to consider how happy you could be if you were had friends/whatever it is you want and consider how unhappy you could be if you stay the way you are, and use that as inspiration. next time you consider going out for a run, (which is something you should do. runnings great) and you don't have the will power, think of why you're doing it and maybe that will give you that drive. cause as you said, you're lazy, so you need to find a way of giving yourself that motivation. if that doesn't work at least talk to a therapist, particularly about the motivation thing as that's the biggest problem i think.
