My point was those anime are all shit, the end.
surprised Valvrave hasn't been mentioned "fun" as hell
So Hiryuu's subs of Shinmoneta are slightly less censored. The phases and some gestures still are but less so. [t]http://puu.sh/iU8Gp/5d14f2fca9.jpg[/t] Left: Funi, Right: Hiryuu
I'm not sure if you figured it out yet but it was confirmed that Funi did the sticker censors themselves, because it wasn't censored like that in AT-X. It was also mentioned Funi only got the rights to the non-ATX version, since it airs twice in Japan.
surprised Valvrave hasn't been mentioned "fun" as hell
Valvarape was only fun to watch with /a/ and shitpost about in the threads
My point was those anime are all shit, the end.
At fear of having Reds or Dggs come in and add 5 pages about Gundam series and such I'll drop the point [editline]10th July 2015[/editline]
I'm not sure if you figured it out yet but it was confirmed that Funi did the sticker censors themselves, because it wasn't censored like that in AT-X.
I'm not sure if you figured it out yet but it was confirmed that Funi did the sticker censors themselves, because it wasn't censored like that in AT-X.
Yeah I'm pretty sure the sticker censors are inherent to the censored version in the first place, not Funimation's doing. It isn't censored like that in AT-X because AT-X airs uncensored or mostly uncensored anime due to be a premium channel and not a standard TV station ala Tokyo MX (which continues to snap up stuff that it will censor to absolute fuck because Tokyo MX is literal evil).
At fear of having Reds or Dggs come in and add 5 pages about Gundam series and such I'll drop the point
Well dgg doesn't care about Gundam and the only one he seen is Unicorn which was shit anyways so no fear on that
What's wrong with Elfen Lied?
I'm pretty sure we had this discussion about two pages ago

Wow people get really worked up over anime
i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around akagami no shirayukihime being a full series the first episode felt like a single episode OVA, really looking forward to what the rest will be like
I'm pretty sure we had this discussion about two pages ago
I read the previous 3 pages and didn't see anyone talking about Elfen Lied, which page are you referring to?
I read the previous 3 pages and didn't see anyone talking about Elfen Lied, which page are you referring to?
Oh it was actually 10 pages. How Fast Anime flies....
Oh it was actually 10 pages. How Fast Anime flies....
I guess you could say this thread is pretty fast
Did anybody ever finish Rolling girls? I was hooked on the first 5 episodes but I fell off since it felt like it was just falling apart after that. Great visual though
Did anybody ever finish Rolling girls? I was hooked on the first 5 episodes but I fell off since it felt like it was just falling apart after that. Great visual though
Yes, I thought it was good. I don't really see how it "fell apart"
Is that show any going I am sure it will be on the /co/mrade stream but wonder if I should make that 10 or whatever window the "go pick up chinese food" moment or not.
I don't want to say for sure if it'll be good or not since, well, it's a dumb ecchi show, but it might be fun. I hope I thought the character designs were cute, especially the black hair girl.
Did anybody ever finish Rolling girls? I was hooked on the first 5 episodes but I fell off since it felt like it was just falling apart after that. Great visual though
The ending was meh. I don't know what they were trying to do with that show. The most likely purpose I can think of was "Let's make a Kill la Kill clone, but for kids!"
Did anybody ever finish Rolling girls? I was hooked on the first 5 episodes but I fell off since it felt like it was just falling apart after that. Great visual though
I finished it but I wish I didn't. It was unbelievably boring, and the characters were pretty uninteresting. [editline]10th July 2015[/editline] Some episodes I just paused and went to do other things because of how dull it was until I remembered I was suppose to watch it.
Oh it was actually 10 pages. How Fast Anime flies....
No one said why it was bad though. I was just wondering what people didn't like or thought what was bad about it.
No one said why it was bad though. I was just wondering what people didn't like or thought what was bad about it.
You're right, we turned to listing what was good about it instead lol The manga is better in pretty much every discernable way and it's still a load of edgy bullshit
Yes, I thought it was good. I don't really see how it "fell apart"
Well, I guess I should it didn't really go anywhere instead. After the rollercoaster fight it was easy to lose interest is all. I'll go back and finish it sometime though because those fights looked cool. Also Crocman-chan was the best part of the show.
You're right, we turned to listing what was good about it instead lol
No one really said anything besides that it was shit.
The ending was meh. I don't know what they were trying to do with that show. The most likely purpose I can think of was "Let's make a Kill la Kill clone, but for kids!"
How is it anything like kill la kill?
How is it anything like kill la kill?
Kill la Kill invented high-energy silliness and action, didn't you know? Just like how Gurren Lagann invented mecha.
How is it anything like kill la kill?

Kill la Kill invented high-energy silliness and action, didn't you know? Just like how Gurren Lagann invented mecha.
Over the top fights between schoolgirls with silly weapons, where the schoolgirls are basically in charge of their own nations. [sp]Also aliens[/sp] Compared to Over the top fights between schoolgirls with ridiculous weapons, where one schoolgirl is in charge of her own mini-nation. [sp]Also aliens[/sp] Sure, Kill la Kill obviously didn't invent over the top action, not even between schoolgirls, but Rolling Girls came out less than a year after Kill la Kill, as an anime original. Sort of like how Madoka obviously didn't invent magical girls with grim themes, but Daybreak Illusion was still obviously riding on the coattails of it.
Sure, Kill la Kill obviously didn't invent over the top action, not even between schoolgirls, but Rolling Girls came out less than a year after Kill la Kill, as an anime original. .
Rolling Girls is nothing like Kill la Kill except in completely superficial ways. You'll only find more than extremely broad similarities if you're looking for them and contriving justifications for comparisons. Don't anime originals take ages to make, anyway? I might just be thinking of one or two shows that had really long periods of trying to get off the ground... [editline]11th July 2015[/editline] Obviously there's always going to be hastily made cash-ins but Rolling Girls doesn't strike me as the type of show that was shit out to capitalise on another show's popularity.
Sure, Kill la Kill obviously didn't invent over the top action, not even between schoolgirls, but Rolling Girls came out less than a year after Kill la Kill, as an anime original. The time between Kill la Kill and Rolling Girls is not sufficient to make a show of any quality except bad, and Rolling Girls apparently isn't bad so uh?
