Started Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. For some reason I expected there to be no other characters there other than the heroine and the fairies, but there were other humans, eh. [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] The artstyle is so incredibly pleasant, it's vivid and colourful, like Tsuritama. You can't get that kind of stuff on cels, sorry /m/
i really like gangsta's opening
why is umaru-chan SO GOOD
Can someone explain me this scene?
I finally finished Part 4 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and felt inspired to draw something. This is the effect(still very WIP): [t]http://i.imgur.com/gRX9fhj.jpg[/t] [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] I hope this goes here :v:
why is umaru-chan SO GOOD
I find the little sister to be extremely obnoxious, first episode was fine but i'm already tired of her crap.
It's not "annoying but cute", it's just "wow she's really mean"
Les Imouto Terribles
Madoushi is one of the most generic tropey shows I have ever had the displeasure of watching. Dear god, I am going to see through with it just to see if it gets ANY better. but man Spoilers if anyone even cares [sp] Literally the most exciting thing that happened was when the MC walked on the 3 harem girls catfighting in changing room[/sp]
Les Imouto Terribles
Love this show so much. Umaru reminds me of my own sister except without the "decent in public" part.
Wow I feel bad for you. That's like a never ending nightmare [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] DO youn eed a hug?
Umaru is an obnoxious, ungrateful piece of shit and her brother is a spineless wimp.
Les Imouto Terribles
:garryspin:
Umaru got much better in the second episode.
I wish I could be Umaru and be a useless piece of shit all day long
i heard there was going to be more inferno cop later this year please god let this be true [editline]15th July 2015[/editline]
Does nip bread taste like significantly better than our bread or something. They always seem to eat bread by itself in animu
i eat bread by itself sometimes, depends on the bread though. potato bread best
Hello, quick question for all you Japan experts. I don't watch anime, but I was watching some anime about a biker turned teacher and over the course of a few episodes, I noticed there was some real emphasis on the importance of food. I don't know if it's just some self-inflicted stereotype of Japanese people or some shit, but they were making a fucking big ass deal about different types of tuna and their fatty parts and how one is more expensive than the other due to certain traits. I can't recall the examples entirely, but it definitely seemed different than western culture. Also, I noticed the phrase "please eat a lot" being used a shit ton. I understand that's a gesture of hospitality, but damn, they say it way too fucking much. Anyway, ideas? This is intriguing cultural research.
Hospitality gesture aside, I would have no reason for living if it weren't for food. Don't underestimate it's importance. As for japanese food, it's ok. They do have this idea that a good husband/wife can cook though. It's in a lot of anime. It's pretty reasonable. Cooking is tiresome, I just like eating. I would like a wife/harem who can cook for me. Whatever's best.
Hospitality gesture aside, I would have no reason for living if it weren't for food. Don't underestimate it's importance.
most people can't live without food
I can live without food when i'm not hungry.
Also, you're using the term 'western culture' like it's unanimous. It really isn't. The french will spend half their day slowly eating at mealtimes, whilst us english people commonly struggle to comprehend anything with flavour in it. Most anime don't really do much about food unless it's got some romantic man+woman notion to it. GTO has it because Onizuka is lonely as fuck but is also the potential husbando of the millennium

Yeah the definitions of the tuna are detailed because they're for specific cuts of tuna, each with specific properties, tastes, and uses. For example, Chuutoro is medium-fat tuna meat, usually from the belly, and combines the taste of akami (the top loin, leanest tuna meat) and tenderness of outoro (fattiest belly meat) meat. It's also pretty expensive. Think of it as picking a cut of steak - better stuff costs more and tastes better compared to the generally cheaper and not as tasty alternatives. I don't actually know what cut of tuna is the priciest and don't really care either cos I don't eat it, but a bit of googling would tell you if you cared enough :v:
so metal gear rising's director kenji saito says he wants to make a kill la kill game or a berserk game tweet kill la kill's great and all but i really, really, really want a berserk game by platinum now tho they should probably finish the 67 other projects they're working on right now

Ootoro sushi is heavenly.
Yeah the difference between the various tuna parts is massive. Ootoro sushi is heavenly.
I don't like tuna very much, I'd be interested to see if they've just been selling me the wrong part of the fish.
You were watching GTO, then? Good shit.
Yeah, it's not bad for one of those Japanese cartoon things. How popular is it? Also: Plenty of these.
GTO is decently popular and everyone I know who's even heard of it likes it, so.
after grabbing the rights for the titty-sucking anime, crunchy have now done another great deal by licensing makura no danshi, this years most hyped anime no idea how they were able to get those rights, must've been one hell of a legal fight with funimation since it's so famous and well liked seriously though, you know something's off when even the crunchyroll comments section is confused and turned off
