Till this day I'm still creeped out by your avatar orkel. You should actually make it a .gif that slowly zoomes in and out by slight percentages, for added 'creepy' effect lol.

Zooming in/out would be a more effective delivery of creepiness .

Lazy editing.

freiza doesn't brush his teeth enough in his final form
EP2 of gakkou explained a few things, such as the anime is set[sp] after the mall incident, as opposed to miikun being there all the time[/sp]
Good episode though, I'm interested to see how many changes will there be from the manga.
Is Bookdepository the best place for getting light novels/manga in Australia? Can't seem to find anything cheaper but I seem to recall someone (adnap i thINK??) mentioning another site.
i started watching initial d and now i have the urge to play racing sims

I've used thenile.com.au and it was pretty good, not much selection though.
Bookdepository was the site I mentioned

Ok, quick opinion on airing shows time:
Akagami no Shirayuki-hime: really great, I'm loving it so far. Best protagonist of the season, Shirayuki has balls larger than every other character this season combined.
Overlord: somebody already stole my Mr Bones joke so I'll just say that it's pretty good so far. Very introductory though. Winner of the boss of the year award. My career as a Madhouse shill will continue as usual.
Gangsta: bitches and hoes/10. Really nice to have one of these types of shows every now and then. Hopefully this pulls Manglobe out of the hole they're in.
Aoharu x Kitanjuu: Ouran High School Survival Club really is the best way to describe this show. It's fantastic, it's basically what I wanted Sabagebu to be. I never really got into that show. Maybe I should give it another shot.
Ushio no Tora: Mappa's staff went missing for a week, and when they came back they claimed to have gone on an incredible adventure through time and space and at some point had acquired a contract for a hot new shounen manga that happened to still apply in 2015. It's pretty great. Good to see the spear getting some appreciation for once.
Gate: i ain't watching that shit who do you think i am
Classroom Crisis: I'm pretty sure that they just wrote a management-vs-engineers anime, then shoehorned a high school setting in to appeal to demographics. Either way it's shaping up to be pretty fun. Somehow the director, who directed Build Fighters, managed to get the Build Fighters composer on board as well, who happens to be a very slightly amazing composer. So there's that to look forward to as well.
God Eater: well, that sure was the opening to a game. MC sure is showing us how colourful and unique he and his motivations are. Man that shading is weird though. Very three-dimensional. Almost feels like CG a lot of the time.
Will probably pick up other shows as the season goes on. Not much to say other than what I'm watching is really good.
god eater feels like they made 3d models and just painted over the models

I disagree, they fucked up quite a few scenes from the manga
Most notably [sp]Yuki-chan cowering in the corner alone[/sp]

Thanks dork. Not on sale that much but wanted to spend a 10% coupon since it was expiring soon. Finally starting these after all these yeaRS
my friend sent me this and i think it encompasses the reaction of those who haven't read the manga
spoilerish i guess. It's a "what i expected and what i got " picture

Gakkou Gurashi is taking a bit of artistic license in regards to the source material, but it's still really good. Can't fault it for much at the moment.

I think we've been watching an entirely different akagami no shirayuki-hime. It's pretty bad. Not terribly so, but there aren't many good things about it. The part where she gasses a guy was interesting, but it's otherwise a poor and generic shoujo.

How many shoujo are set in fantasy worlds and feature women who aren't completely incompetent.
you're actually just plain wrong :toadleave:

Yona's entire character arc in Akatsuki no Yona is her trying to be a more generally competent person so that's one other. She's not straight up extremely competent in all ways but physical strength right from the start like Shirayuki though.
you'd know this if you hadn't avoided the show due to your pierrot phobia

I guess Escaflowne counts.

I didn't realize your taste in anime was this bad. :vs:
Every generic trope ever with the poorest and blandest execution where every joke is put on it's own pedestal for people to admire whilst being pointed out by the characters or le-funny-reaction-faces. Then it also does the generic understanding-people motivational shit where the main character understands the good in people and make them realize things about themselves and yay friends and understanding.
Really great.
I thought Akatsuki no yona was really mediocre
I didn't realize your taste in anime was this bad. :vs:
Luckily I always realised that your taste in anime was this bad.

It's nothing that'll exactly blow you away but I found it to be an enjoyable show competently and solidly delivered. It's on the high end of a 7/10.
Luckily I always realised that your taste in anime was this bad.
Yes, I prefer shows that aren't made by ticking off a bucket list labeled "tropes".

If by high end of a 7 you mean the low end of a 5, sure.
It is decided that I must watch Cinderella Girls before the next season begins.
Jitsu wa Watashi wa is good
