Seriously though Euphonium [sp]should have gone Yuri or nothing because Shuichi sucks. He isn't even a character.[/sp]
He's underdeveloped because he hasn't gotten any focus beyond "is the childhood friend" which they've played with in a fun way for some nice interaction. He's not the focus of the show and neither is the romance so naturally that comes off as underwhelming if you're treating it as a major aspect of the show.
madoka rebellion: [sp]yeah, but madoka rebellion is fanwank trash, why is mami living with the witch that ate her? cause the fans like it. why is homura explicitly in love with madoka romanticly? fans. You can love someone without it being romantic, sure homura was leaning more towards romance with madoka, but it's still only implied by the viewer until madoka: fanwank[/sp]
[sp] Well, Mami didn't know about the witch in the first place, her memory was altered by the labyrinth of Homura AND if I remember correctly, only Homura remembered witches after the wish of Madoka. And I don't wanna say much but if you go back 100 times in time to save one single person, I'd a possibility of love is a very likely thing.[/sp] and calling it fanwank is a tad silly IMO. Then again, I am heavily biased cause I love both the movie and Homura's character.

I'm quite certain there must be plenty of development for our Wiener forever.
I defend peoples right to be themselves and do what they want. I don't see the point in getting annoyed at what others do because you wouldn't do it yourself, that is just causing trouble and frustration for yourself for no reason. What insistence and over focusing? What are you referring to? The shows? The fans? Anime is primarily meant for teenagers, at time when relationships, tits, penis and vagina starts becoming a part of their lives, when their hormones are out of wack and they have an urge to bang anything. Obviously you get their attention when you appeal to their lusts and fantasies, leaving in subtle hints for them to fantasize further. I don't think most anime ever intended to portray a real sense of friendship to begin with, they're all sugarcoated honey dipped sweethearts. Anime portrays the pure friendship, where everyone cares more about others than themselves, and when they get a bit selfish they feel bad about it and then everyone else cheers them up and hey lets make dinner and do a sleepover and have the best time of our lives. I think it's important when criticizing anime shows to keep in mind who they're meant to appeal to, who they're meant to sell for. In most cases the answer is most likely "not me".
I don't care about shipping man, but I think it's annoying that tumblr and other crazy people are trying to insert their own headcanon into the show, going as far as to write massive criticisms of kyoani because they dared have straight people in an anime not about romance in the first place. It's the same reason the people on mal crying about unlimited blade works piss me off, they're crying about things differing from their personal headcanon of the thing in question, when it's actually accurate to the thing it's adapting. shipping is fine and all but when you start getting mad that the yuri ship (that doesn't exist) has sailed you've crossed the line into annoying weeaboo.
I just like to watch anime because it is fun.
I will treat a show's sheer enjoyability over anything when I'm watching a show. If a show focuses on nothing over than being sheer fun then I'm often going to adore it. Whether that's through comedy or style or action or anything, the aspect of "fun" is a separate element that can make up for deficiencies in writing if the show knows what it's good at and focuses on that. I think a good example of this would be Banananananananananananana's buried pistachios. Before it took its swerve and tried to be sort of serious and more than what it was, it was so perfect as what I wanted in a fun show. I actually never finished the show because after that episode other than one or two exceptions that fun factor just sort of drained out of the show and it was a huge shame. tldr fun things are fun
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2015-06-10/prison-school-tv-anime-slated-for-july-10-premiere/.89097 Prison School will air on AT-X. This means there are chances of no censorships supposedly but I'm not actually that sure.
I don't care if people want to ship, I just hate it when it takes over the conversation of the shows plot and progression; that or it's so forced it just becomes annoying. Like if people want to talk about a possible relationship between say(example) Sousuke and Chidori, sure whatever there is substance to go off of. On the other hand, when it is at the point of "wow these two talked to each other at some point once, they must be in love"(*cough* Aldnoah *cough*), and proceed to drag on about it any time the show/character comes up it gets annoying.
ok guys so i know they blew up a planet and murdered half the cast in the last episode of the show but did you see how miyuki-chan looked briefly in kanata-chan's direction at 18:04 IT'S TRUE LOVE I TELL YOU
Figured out a way to more efficiently be a lazy piece of shit. You can use Xpadder to make controllers have keyboard input. Using this I can control my computer using my feet. What I can also do however is rebind it so that the A button presses page down. This allows me to select the next episode of whatever show I am watching while staying in bed (while using MPHC at least). The parasyte live action movie was surprisingly relatively okay. Anime is way better though.

Well, that's one way to do it. Comfortably being a lazy ass actually requires quite some effort. Although I can't really find how people can watch stuff on their notebooks in bed because no matter what way I tried it it was not comfortable at the slightest.
That is some serious dedication to being a lazy shit.
Considering that I have to minimize the usage of my arms for the most part its also somewhat practical. Couple weeks ago my primary method of switching to the next episode was trying to press the page down button with my feet. This is clumsy. TBH I shouldn't be typing at all but it gets kinda lonely sometimes.
Euphonium ep 10: [sp]Is everyone simply believing what Reina said at face value. As far as i see it, she is lying for a reason or another. There is obviously more to it than that. I don't get why people got so mad with ep10 tbh. The whole episode feels more like it's actually a tease for teacher route, while anime is actually still going where it was. Everything in episode 10 was too blatantly straight about Reina. So much that i doubt it even more. Reina being straight and going for teacher would be way too simple. It could also be that i overestimate KyoAni. Well see what happens in next episode.[/sp]
god damn it creec
I've never been a fan of yuri or shipped it in literally any other show The undertones were blatantly there (especially with the official art), if you didn't get it blame that on yourself
That's all fine and dandy for them but sometimes I just want to talk about all aspects of a show with a bunch of people in a calm and polite fashion.
Then you need to find the right place to do so, 4chan is the worst possible place to go for that. You would really need your own forum where you just ban everyone who doesn't align with your policy or have private conversations with specific people.
Even if I know I won't get it from most of /a/ there's nothing wrong with still wanting it and pointing out that it's often annoying. And then you go "well why bother complaining at all if it's a foregone conclusion", and the answer is that it's because I'm a human being and I'm going to whine about things that bother me regardless of whether or not it's practical to do so.
But it's at the same time like farting in the wind. Also the topic went from "I dislike people making ships" to "I dislike when people talk about ships in the conversations I want to partake in".
I don't care about shipping man, but I think it's annoying that tumblr and other crazy people are trying to insert their own headcanon into the show, going as far as to write massive criticisms of kyoani because they dared have straight people in an anime not about romance in the first place. Laugh at them. It's just a bunch of people that are locked in their own small community circles where all of their opinions are very important and right and everybody who disagrees is out to get them and are misogynistic racist cisscums. How could you even give them enough value and credibility to get annoyed at them? That's giving them more than they deserve. I don't think anyone that dislikes the thing that's it's adapting cares if it's faithfully adapting what they dislike. You should think through why they're complaining without using the source material as a defense for why they shouldn't be allowed to complain. It sounds like you're literally saying that their opinion is wrong. I think F/SN is a piece of shit boring show with little value or interest, because I haven't played the games and I never intend to, I judge the anime on the basis of the anime being it's own shown. Naturally people that have played the game have a reason to like it, and naturally those who haven't have a reason to dislike it, because for us it's about a boring character and 5 seconds of animated fights. I again don't really see the problem, I tend to ignore annoying weeaboos instead of caring about their nonsensical ramblings.

I'm hoping this will be the first good live action movie, since it looks kinda cool for once.
Kaiji live-action was really shit. I'm hoping this will be the first good live action movie, since it looks kinda cool for once.
According to the ANN article it will be using CG for those FKMT as hell zawa-zawa tension-filled moments with those trippy visuals.
apparently City Hunter has a couple live action adaptations
2 episodes into Punch Line and I have no idea how anyone could say anything positive about it based on either of those episodes (since some people praised it already on ep 1). Colorful art is currently all it has going for it. Not a single original joke in 2 episodes is pretty bad, especially as an introduction.
According to the ANN article it will be using CG for those FKMT as hell zawa-zawa tension-filled moments with those trippy visuals.
The one thing live action never gets right is the acting and writing though, so we'll see how it turns out.

I don't mind punchline, I do enjoy it but the episodes are a hit or very far miss.
I found all of the episodes to be consistently interesting after I think five or six.
It gets into the groove after it establishes the backstories. [sp]No, not in that sense, the actual backstories[/sp]
I found all of the episodes to be consistently interesting after I think five or six.
Yeah but I can't remember what 2 episodes it was but it was somewhere before episode 6, the episodes just felt to drag on. I do like it is self aware of how silly it is and seems to manage it well
I never imagined the live-action Akagi characters to look so surprisingly close. I mean look at that Washizu: he's terrifying.
yeah but where is his glorious fucking hair and why hasn't he shaved akagi looks relatively good though
