ew no sweet things are not meant to be flavored with bitter things
But green tea ice cream is great.
ew no sweet things are not meant to be flavored with bitter things
Caramel? Coffee flavour? Nuts?
Caramel? Coffee flavour? Nuts?
coffee flavored sweets are usually very mild in bitterness. Or at least compared to black which is what I usually drink. Don't know what sort of nuts you're eating that are bitter. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] caramel is literally sugar so ???

Walnuts are bitter, so are almonds although I dislike almonds. Also if coffee flavoured sweets are mild, why wouldn't green tea sweets be mild? [editline]21st June 2015[/editline] Not that I like awfully bitter things either, but bitter can be good when applied in small amounts.

A friend recommended me green tea ice cream from a certain place so I got it and I didn't like it that much. It was overwhelmingly bitter and didn't have a trace of sweetness. None of those you mentioned are even really considered that bitter if at all. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] Green tea lollies are similar, they usually have a very distinct flavor. Rarely are coffee flavored things very bitter, unless it's specifically advertised as such.
I had it at some sushi place a few weeks ago and it was good. I rest my case.

Yes, the 2nd one is Venus de Milo. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline]
They usually aren't? Ice cream especially.
Shokugeki is fun, you massive loser.
I like fun things, just not that kind of fun.
I like fun things, just not that kind of fun.
You really should've watched more than 1 episode you know.
You really should've watched more than 1 episode you know.
I probably should've, but I dropped it preemptively mainly as part of a larger bandwidth problem I was having. And I knew I was just going to moan and groan loudly about how much I dislike the show and forcing myself to watch it anyway so I dropped it. If the anime isn't ridiculous clothes tearing in-your-face-fanservice-why-am-I-watching-this-instead-of-actually-watching/reading/playing-porn later on, then maybe I'll probably watch it at a later date, but I doubt it.
Shokugeki stopped doing that a while ago man
that was just like the first three episodes
Shokugeki stopped doing that a while ago man

that was just like the first three episodes
I'll take your words for it. I'll pick it up if I can ever be bothered.
Read the mango
manga is for nerdes
got my brother to start watching Hunter x Hunter a few days ago now hes on like ep 45
And that's another show completed. A bit cliche (this should be expected from adapting a mobile game) but quite nice overall, Bones/10. Bring on this week for six of the seven left that end this season.
got my brother to start watching Hunter x Hunter a few days ago now hes on like ep 45
My little bro has surprisingly not-shit taste in anime. He dropped Naruto and started watching The Tatami Galaxy. Which is kinda ironic because his name is Jack
ew no sweet things are not meant to be flavored with bitter things
What are you talking about? Green tea isn't bitter if you brew it right. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline]
My little bro has surprisingly not-shit taste in anime. He dropped Naruto and started watching The Tatami Galaxy. Which is kinda ironic because his name is Jack
I'm still trying to cultivate good taste in my brother, i've got him off dubs at least. I wanna show him something like Shinsekai Yori or The Tatami galaxy to get him addicted, but he keep bitching to me that he can't because of "exams".
Someone recommended Valvrave the Liberator a while ago and I just finished it and now I am very sad.
What are you talking about? Green tea isn't bitter if you brew it right
We were talking about green tea flavored sweets, not the actual drink. I have no problems with the actual drink.
Someone recommended Valvrave the Liberator a while ago and I just finished it and now I am very sad.
I remember valvrave being one of the worst animes I've ever seen. Nobody in production knew where they wanted to go with it; the writers were so split and out of touch with each other that they gave the show 2 completely different endings somehow. [sp]on one hand they had the "lets make peace with everyone!" ending, while also having the "kill all people that aren't us" ending as well.[/sp] Pretty astonishing how they managed to pull that off.
manga is for nerdes
yes my lhc-scaled anime-only DICK makes reading impossible at this moment i am watching punchline on top of a mountain of supermodels
I remember valvrave being one of the worst animes I've ever seen.
It IS one of the worst. I still love the shit out of it
Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon is pretty good, any AOT or SAO fans should watch it.
the jack get off your alt
Danmachi is okay. like it isnt bad but it isnt good too. Average. Doubt I will actually remember it in half a year
I'm currently catching up with its episodes, right now I'm at the 11th one. To be honest, it really surprised me because I expected it to be some boring, overblown piece of shit, but it's unexpectedly and genuinely fun to me.
Started watching Aoi Bungaku. Finished the first story line. I have to say I really like it so far. It's an EXCELLENT choice if you want something more serious and want to steer clear of any silly anime tropes.
