Uh.. Why are they kissing..?
That didn't happen in the anime and sure as hell hasn't happened in the manga yet, if ever.
Godamnit Eren, stop friendzoning Mikasa.

Recommended viewing before watching.
Been reading JoJo where the Part 3 anime left off and I'm currently in the middle of Part 7, and while I'm greatly enjoying reading the different Parts, I really wish I didn't know SO MANY of the death related spoilers.
Part 6: [sp]This part was pretty surprising though, I only knew that Jolyene and Jotaro died beforehand, I didn't know about the world reset that happened shortly after.[/sp]

Haibane Renmei is actually the only good recommendation on that list if you want similar worldbuilding elements.

so ra no wo to is just k-on with guns instead of guitars though

Did [sp]ptsd and the futility of war[/sp] come up in K-On?
why is sora no woto so interesting? i was only expecting k-on tanks when i started watching, yet it has such a fascinating story
[editline]24th June 2015[/editline]
also why is there only one season :(
I'm really conflicted about my desire of a second season for SnW.
On one hand, I'll never object to it, how in the world could I object to a second season of my favourite anime, if it ever happens I'll explode with hype.
On the other hand, the conclusion in ep13 was fucking beautiful. It was a fantastic open end. There's always the danger of the theoretical second season being not up to par with the first one.
You know what I'd love? A well-done French dub for So Ra No Wo To. I don't even want an English one, and I don't even speak French. It's just, since it seems like French is the language spoken in Helvetia, I want to see the world in French.

I really enjoyed how culturally mixed up everything was in the series. Everything was so strange, like how [sp]helvetians spoke japanese but wrote in french[/sp]
I also found this on the wiki page for it which I think is pretty great in describing just how strange it is: [sp]The story follows cute Japanese and European teenage girls wearing Wehrmacht uniforms, exploring a Japanese school in a Spanish town full of French people who make Venetian glassware on Switzerland's French border, in a country that has a soldier princess playing Amazing Grace on a trumpet, following a Shinto-Christian religion with a miko-nun, treating tropical diseases only children get, accepting yen as currency while not being able to read kanji, celebrating Spanish traditions mixed with Chinese New Years legends, shooting at African owls with German rifles. All while at war with German-speaking, brown-skinned Americans with bindis on the forheads of their women, from a Roman Empire[/sp]

[sp]The apocalypse really shakes shit up.[/sp]
is it any decent?
eh who am i kidding ill play it regardless, i want more of this series
Hell if I know, I only know of it from the wiki.
It's some PSP rythm game, and they introduce a new character that apparently bumps up the fanservice. The wiki has links to a translation of it. I haven't bothered playing it because I don't know how to emulate it properly.
Quote from the character page:
Kyrie Kuon is a character exclusive to the Visual Novel.
Facts:
-Is brown.
-Likes to tickle the wotos.
Also the rhythm sections apparently have the characters playing music in their skivvies.
yeah it seems pretty fanservicey
Has Japanese CGI ever been really good?
I really have to wonder if their entire CG industry is years behind the western world. Gonna put on a tinfoil here and saying that their fondness of consoles, rapid sequel creation, and gameplay-over-graphics is causing stagnation in their 3D skills, and this can be seen bleeding into other mediums.
Speaking of Sora no Woto, I decided to check what the sales numbers were for it a few weeks ago.
Really wish I didn't.
bruh pls

is that total sales or like 6 weeks post release?
is that total sales or like 6 weeks post release?
I use someanithing as my sales information source, not sure what they use to count them down.
Amazon stalker is the one that stops counting 6 weeks post release and Oricon is the one that's supposed to provide better info sometime after the release, right?
even in a parody series Musashi cant catch a break.

jojo part 3 and early part 4 spoilers [sp]I'm a bit annoyed that not only can Jotaro still only stop time for 1-2 seconds but he never uses it besides at the very beginning for something incredibly trivial[/sp]

Haha, yeah I read that in the wiki about Star Platinum's powers.
Further proves how he just makes up things on the spot to conveniently fit into the story.

Homo is forbidden in Arslan.
No, really. The author straight up asked people not to draw yaoi of Arslan characters.
that's because he's clearly trying to corner the market
you can't tell me somebody drew a dude like that without the intention of CAJONES ON CAJONES ACTION eh?

The character designer of this Arslan anime is the mangaka of Fullmetal Alchemist, who is a woman.
Finished higashi no eden + the movies.
My opinion can be summed up as EH.
I wasn't quite bored but IMO it never really went anywhere. It kinda just happened and has left absolutely no impact on me whatsoever.

Some thingy that's made to upscale aniem images and it actually works really well. It apparently redraws them from scratch in higher res or something, the lines aren't perfect but it's still impressive.

Album that shows what it can do.
probably late but some might not have seen it!
Nanoha vivid might be pretty crap compared to the rest of the series but it would be great if somebody would translate the last two episodes so it's not stuck in my on hold list forever!

I was looking into it earlier to see if it's fast enough for live processing. Would be nice to apply it to anime on the go.
Imagine the compression/upscaling quality.
But it's not nearly as fast for that. Offline converting might be possible tho.
