How many chapters are in the yamada kun mango? I stopped reading in the 60s and have been too lazy to pick it back up.
How many chapters are in the yamada kun mango? I stopped reading in the 60s and have been too lazy to pick it back up.
CR's reader currently has 161 chapters
CR's reader currently has 161 chapters
Would a 2nd season be possible then? [editline]7th June 2015[/editline] cuz im rly diggin the show dawg
I'm not really either, but in terms of storytelling if they do what I'm expecting it'll totally ruin the only chance it has of an emotional climax.

The problem for me at least with PM is the fact that everything is way to predictable. I'd probably get more attached to it if things weren't so obviously apparent to the extent of the writers basically saying "Hey get ready for this shocker because we are going to explain it to you before it happens." I can't fault PM in the fact that it is telling you exactly what it sets out to be, I just wish there was a little more mystery to it.
I like it that PM tries to be very different in the way it goes about death. They are not trying to be DEATH-SCENE-TO-BE-MEMORABLE as if to fulfill a drama quota; they tell you the giftias are going to "die" in the same way doctors gives time estimates of terminal patients. It's a gentle sadness in knowing all efforts are futile and the end is inevitable so you have to make best of the time you have left. Closest anime I've seen that has done this type of style is Anohana and even then [sp]Menma's final rest was relatively sudden, only really actualizing in the last one or two episodes. [/sp]
Would a 2nd season be possible then? [editline]7th June 2015[/editline] cuz im rly diggin the show dawg
With the sales it's getting currently, short answer is "no", long answer is "nooooooooooooooooooooo". You're gonna need some sort of divine intervention to get a S2.
With the sales it's getting currently, short answer is "no", long answer is "nooooooooooooooooooooo". You're gonna need some sort of divine intervention to get a S2.
sad day indeed
Would a 2nd season be possible then? [editline]7th June 2015[/editline] cuz im rly diggin the show dawg
dunno tbh haven't read or watched so I have no idea
dunno tbh haven't read or watched so I have no idea
why even comment on it? on topic: look on the bright side, the manga looks like it's still going strong. It sucks the anime has so many things going against it. From common tropes which gives off a half-assed highschool romp feeling to a bad first impression in general. The first episode has almost no hooks, the premise seems too simple minded, and the characters come off as really unlikeable. It's good after the first hurdle but the hurdle shouldn't be there in the first place, let alone in the first 20 minutes of the first episode. The biggest issue is it can't separate itself from all the other generic HS drama anime so there is no crowd draw. I watched it because people here says it's good but the majority of the potential audience isn't here.
why even comment on it?
uh, because I answered the question I was asked? that's normally what you do when someone asks you a question, isn't it?
With the sales it's getting currently, short answer is "no", long answer is "nooooooooooooooooooooo". You're gonna need some sort of divine intervention to get a S2.
can japan just stop having shit taste in everything already
can japan just stop having shit taste in everything already
i will phone abe first thing tomorrow to get this fixed
can japan just stop having shit taste in everything already
While I have not watched it and most likely never will, surely something about it is absolutely horrible for it to sell below 200 after 9 god damn weeks. I mean Japan can't be this wrong.
i'll save you some time if you want to watch danmachi because of hestia http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=hestia_%28danmachi%29 (nsfw) you're welcome
fuck hestia though
While I have not watched it and most likely never will, surely something about it is absolutely horrible for it to sell below 200 after 9 god damn weeks.
I'm gonna need to see this chart. Under 200 sounds like it could ruin a studio, it'd be like throwing money away.
It all depends on who funded it, if the studio did (highly unlikely, happens very rarely and only "big" studios do it) then yes they are going to die, if someone else funded it then it probably won't get a S2 and that's pretty much all. Though anime sales aren't exactly indicative of what can happen to a franchise, an example is an animated series that boosts the original material sales by 200% (like that one thing with the onii-sama guy who killed everything and everyone) could see more material adapted. There's also stuff that sells well and boosts original material sale by a fuckton like Nozaki-kun, which climbed up to 27th most sold manga just below OPM for the first half of 2015, after not being in the top 100 ever since it first released. As for the 200 figure, I don't remember the website for the Amazon Stalker sales figure but I'm pretty sure a bit of googling or looking through 4chin archives are gonna net you what you wish. It's also first volume sales, and as the name indicates only Amazon sales.
Under 200 is absolutely terrible, but LIDEN is pretty much rolling in cash (not to mention unlikely to be directly funding anyway) so it's probably not going to be a super serious hit under 200 though... damn. I can only make a few guesses as to how terrible the first episode (at the very least) had to be for the sales to be that low
the only good thing about hestia is better anime girls in hestia's outfit
Hestia's outfit is shit.
Finished first chapter of Fist of the North Star. [sp]Yuria, you shit. Maybe if you told Shin what you exactly wanted instead of being ~deep~, he wouldn't have fucked everything up.[/sp] Also god damn Kenshiro is overpowered.
Oh nice, I read some volumes. Get excited for my favorite fight [sp]the one where Kenshiro uses a boulder[/sp]. Fun stuff.

Is the anime just going to be about this guy steamrolling everything?
Yes, the anime is just going to be about Kenshiro steamrolling everything with 2 or 3 exceptions.
what happened
[t]https://i.imgur.com/jvrgUpW.png[/t] since when do people like reds
times have changed
The sound is fine and the characters are likeable enough. It's no masterpiece, but it's good for time consumption.
The problem with the sound is that it's very loud and almost like it's going for some sort of hollywood tier of sound effects for simple things. The enemy being vaporized is a good example of this since it sounds like broken speakers
[t]https://i.imgur.com/jvrgUpW.png[/t] since when do people like reds
since more people got stuck on the gundamwagon he says good stuff given the right genre
he says good stuff given the right genre
i was not aware of this which genre exactly i assume slice of life
i assume slice of life
anything but
Reds is secretly a huge moe slice of life fan, hes just closeted so he doesn't lose his mechafag reputation, calling it.
