Plastic Memories: am I the only one who [sp]didn't tear up? I mean, Sure, it was kinda sad, but I knew it was coming. Not right that moment in the ferris wheel, of course, but still. I almost started to tear up when the characters were reading her goodbye, but I still felt much sadder at the end of the first episode.[/sp]
Oregairu: [sp]JUST GIVE HIM THE FUCKING CHOCOLATE ALREADY
And I know it's standard for protagonists to be dense, but Hikki SURELY has some inkling of an idea that they actually like him, right? Right?[/sp]
TTGL is way more polished than KLK in almost every way possible. No denying that.
The only thing that KLK did better is the immediate momentum at the start.

I enjoyed KLK very much btw
I enjoyed KLK a lot but it became a chore in the middle.
I think most of the people here have seen FLCL.
Well go watch it again
Well go watch it again
i've watched it like 4 times since i originally saw it though.

[sp]Of course he does, he's just still not sure if he should trust the idea he has that they like him. He's a social outcast who's misread things like that before and been hurt from it, of course he's going to be apprehensive in his assumption that one of them likes him, and he'd sure as hell never ask for fear that he's wrong and makes an ass out of himself.[/sp]

[sp]For Yui, I'm sure he knew as early as Yui's confession/8man's talk about nice girls in s1, and even as late as him refusing to hold her hand when Yukino fled the room in late s2.[/sp]
[sp]And then you have Yukino, and that whole infirmary scene in late s2 as well. I honestly can't remember most of anything in s1 because it was largely forgettable and there are probably other examples I forgot about in both seasons as well.[/sp]
I imagine the LN might have more info on it, since BB/Feel might've omitted some of his inner monologue. But I haven't so much as read it myself at all. Maybe a LN reader can provide some explanation or something.
oregairu [sp]What the conflict was and what people were talking about was an exercise just to decipher, especially in season 2. It was no different for the final episode. I was disappointed by the lack of Saika[/sp]
Plastic Memories; [sp] An excellent ending, very happy they didn't do an asspull. It wrapped things up nicely, however i don't like how they kinda left the ending a bit open to a second season, that worries me a bit. [/sp]
Yahari; [sp] Of course 8man knows that they like him, and like Commie mentioned, he's scared of fucking everything up. Yui had an attempted confession which 8man nipped in the bud by jumping out and confessing to the fujoshit, who later indirectly confessed to him. Yukino on the other hand obviously likes him from her actions, but again 8man is not going to act on them unless Yukino does something first. That's also made worse by the fact that if he makes a move towards either of them the other one would be crushed, but wouldn't say anything about it, probably destroying the club and literally one of the only friends he has.[/sp]
Literally the only ending that makes sense is [sp]the Saika ending, the surprise plot twist of 8man being gay will sate the lusts of Yui and Yukino and save their friendships. [/sp]
How the hell did KyoAni get away with doing something like the Endless 8?
I don't even know how many of them I've watched at this point, but I hope I'm at least half done. I don't even know if there's enough of a difference between them for me to post what happened and anyone to be able to tell me, but there probably isn't.

Production staff: Mr. Ishihara, the storyboards in that pile, are you redrawing the episode you were working on from the scratch? Were you not pleased with them?
Ishihara: Huh? No, it's for the following episode.
Staff: Sir?
Ishihara : *smirks*
How to watch the endless eight: watch the first and the last, that's it
there is no benefit to watching more than that, why would you even try

First, one of the 2-7 and the last, rather. The middle 6 are the same, the first and last are different.
But why not, it's an experience.
TTGL is unquestionably miles better than KLK

Plastic mems: I didn't. I felt my heart sank tho.
Oregairu: [sp]they all kinda like the lie for security, two friends liking the same dude means tough shit if he only chooses one
As for what the others said before, while hikki was burnt by rejection, he's mostly healed after hayate finally snuffed his unkindled flame[/sp]

I guess I got off course....
I was not saying TTGL was better, I am saying it handled the sub arcs better
Stop with this silly TTGL vs KLK debate, it's pretty obvious both are inferior to K-ON.

You know what else is an experience? Putting out cigarettes in your ear canal.
Which is pretty much exactly what you'll wish you'd have done after daring to watch all eight endless episodes, along with forever associating the phrase "KYON-KUN, DENWA" with "I want to die."
I have zero desire to watch K-On
Ok.
And there is the problem with television. You can't just make things the length they should be, it needs to fit into the broadcasting program.
Except for Nagato Yuki-chan which is 16 for some reason

Saki Achiga-hen was technically 16 episodes too, it's just that the last 4 eps were sold as specials.
[sp]Man I want a spin-off SOL Fate series where Shirou and Rin do stuff at mage school[/sp]

But the experience
I'm one of those motherfuckers that watched it years after airing and did the full 8[del]man[/del]
Amaburi's OVA is out if you need to kill 20 minutes while waiting for Yamada-kun's final to come out.

but the difference is that gurren lagann doesn't put outrageous eyebrows/pickled radishes on girls
k-on is one of those shows that you should probably watch for the art style, like MLP:FiM or NGNL
There are so many op/ed shenanigans this season. They're pretty interesting imo.
