Thanks for taking part in another social experiment. I wanted to give someone the opportunity to take the gifting reigns for a day to see if the spirit of gifting that people talk about so much really exists among everyone, or just dumb idiots like me. So the plan was to give someone the opportunity to spend £50 on Steam but instead of saying "you have won £50 go wild", I wanted to give them the chance to be giving and share the money with the people who use the GGT.
It was Painseeker who finally got to be our lucky test subject and given some people's opinions (including my own) of Painseeker, it couldn't have worked out better. As soon as he got Page King I sent him this PM:

To my surprise he actually came clean with the thread and told everyone where things stood. I had genuinely expected him to spend it all on himself and just tell everyone he had won £50. So good on him for that, it seems a little tiny bit of the gifting spirit is still there in him. Same can't be said for a lot of you though, since as soon as he announced that he had £50 to do what he wanted with, suddenly became everyone's most respected GGTer. You see through pieces of shit. Of course, the most polite thing to have done would have been to gift me the one and only thing on my [url=http://steamcommunity.com/id/lohnjocke/wishlist]wishlist[/url] and then go ahead and spend the rest on yourself. But he did share some of the money. Here is what he spent it all on, in order of first gift to last:

The most amusing thing is how he calculated it perfectly to drain every penny from my budget. Painseeker, never go into politics.
And so ends my fleeting visit back to the world of gifting. I have gifted enough for a lifetime and I'm finished here now, I'll not be doing this again for a very long time because this is all really very silly if you think about it and try and explain it to someone outside of this thread.
