no u [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] god damn internet was out since this morning. sometimes i hate this school.
Hey guys, I have a question if you would have to make a car or something that can drive 2 meters using gravity and drop a tennis ball 50 cm to the left how would you do so?
[img_thumb]http://upload.somethingdickful.com/files/899_gu4cq/minesweepersolution.png[/img_thumb]
I don't think that's correct. Why is mn raised to the b power? (I assume that's supposed to be (mn)^b.)
Downloaded Infiniminer
I don't think that's correct. Why is mn raised to the b power? (I assume that's supposed to be (mn)^b.)
Think of a probability tree. The number of branches is b, and you multiply along the branches. Hence, raised to the power of b. Mount a pyramidal structure atop the chassis with the corners next to the wheels on the chassis. On top of the pyramid is a pulley where the string loops through and down. The string is then attachedto a tennis ball. When the tennis ball is released, its weight pulls the string, driving the axle, and causing the chassis to move. What the fuck is a probability tree but no, I'm pretty sure it's not correct. [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Fencing practice sucked. Sat around and did nothing for 2 hours. Got 1 fight in. It rained.
What the fuck is a probability tree but no, I'm pretty sure it's not correct.
It's a basic way of visualising probability, you probably know it under a different name. You take the first event and each possible outcome of it generates a new branch. You usually label each branch with its respective probability. This is a simple probability tree for multiple coin tosses for example: Anyway to find the probability of multiple things happening (i.e. heads/tails/heads) you multiply along all the branches that lead up to that outcome, so 0.5*0.5*0.5 = 0.125
Playing Dwarf Fortress; the recent migrants brought a family of four, and the last one in of those four, a one-year old girl named Domas, was the first of the migrants to be attacked by the zombie peafowl. One of the peacocks bit her in the left upper leg, bruising the skin, so she turned around and toppled it, and punch IT in the left upper leg, bruising the skin. "How YOU like it meany-head?! >:[" Naming her Justice, she'll be the sheriff and a militia member/captain of the guard, in 12 years. The next migrant, a High Master soap maker named Deler, came in and punched one of the other peacocks, barely bruising the muscle. She'll be Jealousy, and continue to be a worthless piece of shit, if she doesn't survive in the military. The second migrant after Justice came in and punched that same peacock as Jealousy, smashing in it's head and destroying it. He'll be Mimicry. Next one to start a fight with the zombies is gonna be Bandwagon. Gonna have to keep an eye on this child; she might start a food fight in the dining hall and end up killing the entire fortress in the chaos.

Right idea, still a little bit off. I would have just thrown that into the product operator. Throw the pi in front instead of in the numerator. Then you just have mn instead of (mn^b). That's what confused me. Regardless, still not quite right.

How to use the product operator?
How to use the product operator?
yeah I basically looked at the wikipedia article and threw the numbers in what could go wrong
Well you used it right and the numerator part is right so good job!
Whose up for a game of l4d (1 or 2)?
I would but I have work :frown: [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] Actually it's not a whole lot of work, I might be free in an hour.
