Nurgle is cooler
Whatever happened to that image we had that summoned Johnny?
Same. I spent $63 at the pump last week. But everyone at my work is finally liking me so I get more hours and more money.

Me first :colbert:
I applied for a couple of jobs today. One of them at a gas station where a buddy of mine is working so hopefully he can put a word in for me.
Unfortunally, I haven't read much Lovecraft... Cept for that short story about that kid that saw ghosts.
I've had trouble sleeping and I've found that a good read on my iPod helps. Last night I read The Colour Out of Space and now I'm seeing which is the next I should read.

If you don't necessarily want Lovecraft, there's a book I recently purchased that I love to death.

You can also purchase a pdf and ePub version of it, so you can drop it on your iPod.

Nothing to think, nothing was thought.

My economics professor is a bit worried about the populist uprisings in the Middle East. He says things could turn bad real quick and the world will be without gas. Imagine gas lines lasting a few blocks in length.
The Dunwich Horror
Rats In The Walls
Cool Air
At The Mountains Of Madness
The Shadow Over Innsmouth
The Call Of Cthulhu is overdone and overrated
Johnny is going to come in here all "HERESY" and I'll say something about Slaanesh blahblahblah
Nope I'm just gonna say you're wrong
Cthulhu is going to tentacle fuck you in your sleep and you would like it except you'll be busy being mad
[editline]28th February 2011[/editline]
Also the Rats in the Walls was overrated and The Shadow Over Innsmouth is WAY overrated and At The Mountains of Madness is far too long
What business do you have calling Call of Cthulhu overrated and then suggesting The Shadow Over Innsmouth?
Can he tentacle fuck me because I'm kinda lonely.

Hm, seems interesting. I'll definitely check it out when I get some money. But it's one of my goals to read the complete works of Lovecraft, and since they're all online for free I was just thinking goal-oriented.
Nurgle is cooler
Anything is cooler than Slaanesh. Slaanesh is easily the lamest Chaos god.
"I AM KHORNE! GOD OF WAR AND HATE! BRING ME SKULLS FOR MY THRONE!"
"I am Tzeentch, god of EVIL SCHEMES AND SHIT"
"I am Nurgle, blublublub my diseases can kill everyone in 10 seconds flat!"
"I'm Slaanesh. I like kinky sex."
GO BACK TO HELLRAISER

Personal preference.
AtMoM isn't too long. It's a slow buildup, but it isn't long at all.
I found CoC drawn-out and boring after a few readings. SOI had better atmosphere than CoC, I was more drawn into the story, and CoC is used/referenced faaaaaar more often than SOI in other media.
But I guess my personal preference is wrong, so whatever.

Uh, no. God no.
Reference to Cthulhu? Yes. Reference to The Call of Cthulhu? No.
I have a love for rhymes, alliteration, and word play in general. I wish I was better at it though.

My friend's voicemail message is in iambic pentameter.
Errybody walk the dinosaur
My voicemail is my secretary.
It confused HV and made her unsure if it was the correct number when she called :smug:

Aw man, I miss HV now. I should call her sometime soon. Not now though, now is my Colbert time.
Okay, fine, here's a revised, Johnny-approved Lovecraft reading list:
Call of Cthulhu
Better?
No
My lovecraft reading list would look nothing like that
[editline]28th February 2011[/editline]
Cool air would definitely be on there
[editline]28th February 2011[/editline]
Moosey you should come over this guy I know's house and play Arkham Horror with me.
He has like a billion Lovecraft based board games.

Well at least we agree on something.
And yeah, Arkham Horror is pretty neat. I think I would prefer the Cthulhu pen-and-paper RPG, but it was cool for a board game.
Probably The Whisperer in Darkness as well.

It's like Weekend at Bernie's with aliens.

a ward is awe full.
...I can't believe I forgot about that one. My absolute favorite story, and I forgot about it.
Don't want to go to bed. But free pancakes at iHop tomorrow. :D
