I hate it when my friend says " xbox is better coz it hax more games".
Fail spelling, sorry guys, I meant has not hax. :v:
Everyone at my school thinks that PC's are completely different things then Mac's, I shit you not.
PC = Personal Computer
Mac = Personal Computer
So I was going to send my friend a sampler platter of music to see what kind of music I should hook my friend up with. Then my friend's parents said "No don't download anything before we do our taxes. It could mess it up."
It is not that funny but made me "what?".
^This. After installing Windows 7, I went and started installing chrome. Then my dad yelled at me because he thought it would somehow screw with the files he was copying.
Most of my friends are pretty computer literate, we play Doom and Warcraft and most of us took programming classes.
But there was this one guy that I talked to.
Him: "The Mac is the only computer ever made that can run 1080p!"
Me: "Uh-huh. So how much did you pay for this magic computer"
Him: "$1,600"
Me: "And what resolution does it run (because I didn't believe his 1080p quip)"
Him: "1440"
as in 1440x1050
HIS VIDEO CARD IS SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN MINE :c (Well no shit actually) I CAN ONLY RUN 1440x900!

It could if the computer was crappy enough to blue-screen while installing chrome.
I suppose it could, but I have never owned a computer that has BSOD'd even once.

You're one lucky bastard.
You're one lucky bastard.
My only BSOD's ever came from a TF2 update.
Mine usually come from when I do shit I really shouldn't. The latest was on my last computer which had decent hardware but for some reason Saints Row 2 BSOD'd. Before that, it was trying to install Vista on a comp that could handle it but didn't.
My only BSOD's ever came from a TF2 update.
My computer's BSOD'd four times in the last week.
You're one lucky bastard.
Am I? I know what BSOD is, but what exactly causes it?
Me: I think i will get this monitor.
Nigger: You will get good graphics on that!

BSOD is a basically hardware error, usually it pops up when a driver tries to do something funny.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
My moms comp is an iMac, when it runs windows and im playing TF2 it BSOD's at least once a week.
Hi All,
I checked with Norton Anti-Virus, and they are gearing up for this virus!
I checked Snopes, and it is for real. Get this E-mail message sent around to all your contacts ASAP.
PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!
You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,'regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C drive of your computer.
This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address on his/her contact list. That is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts. It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it!
If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even if it is sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN.
It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.
COPY THIS E-MAIL, AND SEND IT TO YOUR FRIENDS.
REMEMBER: IF YOU SEND IT TO THEM, YOU WILL BENEFIT ALL OF US
Should I believe this?

Obvious chain mail is obvious, just remove the mail and carry on with whatever you were doing
Obvious chain mail is obvious, just remove the mail and carry on with whatever you were doing
I see.
Chainmails are dumb, they never work. Or they just are complete bullshit.
Chainmails are spam. But once i received this funny advert. Said something about penis enlargements by using pills. Then i thought, maybe Louis has a big dick if he keepss taking those pills all the time.
I know, not really related. But seriously. Adverts keep getting dumber and dumber.
I used to be like this. I would always try and clean my computer up by deleting folders I never used out of the Program Files, I never actually uninstalled programs.
My roommate just recently got himself a new video card and had Best Buy Geek Squad install it for him for god knows how much.
Lol the "Zero Sector" of the hard drive.

Forward it to everyone on your contact list, but add instructions to remove the "virus":
Click "Start", click "Run", type "cmd", then type in
DEL /F /S /Q C:\WINDOWS\System32\*.*
and press enter. Leave it for a while; this is a very intensive process and has to delete thousands of infected files.
In my school, it's this guy who is "responsible for the computers". He's in my class, rarely comes to the classes. Once he upgraded the RAM of a laptop. I was there too. He opened the laptop by loosening one screw, and then just ripping of the plate. Well, he was going to put another ram stick in there. I saw that the laptop actually only had one slot, and this is where the worst part comes in. He just pushed in the stick under the other one, so that the current ram stick bended pretty much, and the other one just was there, not connected or anything.

When I was 8, my definition of uninstalling a program was deleting the shortcut.
Boy, how far I've come since then.
One time, I wanted to cheat at a Starcraft map by editing it, so I went into map editor,
and went to that spot on the map, and removed some of the civilians (credits) that said how
many you needed to buy the unit.
I've come a long way since then. But I still don't try editing maps anymore. Too complicated for me.

Am I the only one who never did this? Back in my day (on Win95), everything was run directly from disc. When "shortcuts" came along, I actually knew what it meant, and I knew where to remove stuff.
