Honestly anybody in my school board who has administration privileges who thinks that whatever they don't understand or doesn't look completely like work must be closed right there. So about a month back we're doing course selection for our next year. I choose my courses, then find out we have a while left until we can leave. I open up a new tab in their crappy-ass IE 7 and head to my website, deciding to just make sure nobody's posted any crap on the forums and do some moderating. Out of pure boredom and the itch to censor some certain words, I head to the word censorship page and start changing words like "fag" to "homosexual" and whatnot. Suddenly, my mouse starts spasming and starts randomly clicking shit on my screen. I think great, some confused old man in the office saw "bad words" so he's going to start something about it. Instead, he fucking closes the tab (I hadn't saved any of the changes I had made, how frustrating.) and remains in control of the mouse for like a good minute or so. Then, a laggy little pop-up window saying "Stcik too your course lection!". Also reminds me of a time that my civics teacher was just browsing through possible school mascot names (we need to change ours, it was offensive to aboriginals. It was like "Joe Raider" and the mascot was a happy guy in a native-looking jacket. OH DAMN IT'S RACIST! It's been around for 50 years, hell the old one was actually racist and nothing was said about it), and suddenly her mouse is hijacked. It starts scrolling up and down the page for like ten minutes, then stops, then continues again every minute or so for the rest of class. Makes me want to eat something violently.
You should have unplugged the ethernet cable or the power cord, like a big FUCK YOU, that's what i would do if my computer started to move the mouse around.

You got it right pilotman. I cant fathom what they/Obama excusers are thinking. This is why I think we really do need more than two parties. Then we could have Hillary on our ballots in November and they could have Obama.
Damnit, so I'm going to change GPU (be it a 480 or a 5870), and I was initially thinking of keeping my old 8800GTX that has served me very well for 4 years now, but since I'd need some more money I asked in my class if someone wanted to buy my old 8800GTX. Turns out my IT teacher is building a PC for his 4 years old son, and he'd be interested. Now here comes the dilemma: Should I keep the GPU, which I am quite attached to, or should I sell it to him? It's not much about the money, it's more that if I sell it that means +1 PC gamer (not to mention nobody should be stuck with an onboard GPU, I got my first PC when I was 5 so I would feel bad for forcing someone to use the onboard and therefore not play PC games). I'm leaning towards selling it at the moment, but I'm not even sure for how much I should sell it.
YouTube guy: "ps3 an pc version of Crysis 2 will look exact the same xbox won't" :argh:

A girl once told me her brother was better than me because he could program in 3 languages! English, French, Spanish!
Thats hilarious.
SELL IT, we dont need more PS4 or Xbox 720 fanboys
Could you elaborate on that, please?
A PS4 is realistic, but didn't Microsoft say no to Xbox 720 a while ago?
SELL IT, we dont need more PS4 or Xbox 720 fanboys
Yeah I've been thinking about it and I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell it. But for how much? It's a 4 years old PoW 8800GTX PCI-E 768MB with everything stock (cooler and all that, it's also never been overclocked), it's in perfect condition but of course time will have taken it's toll on the inner stuff I guess (it's a pretty hot card too).
I would say from $25-$45.
snip wrong thread lol
You're so funny, bro
Actually, it was a post meant to go in the gift giving thread, and I had the wrong tab open.
I love how mac and apple are almost a religion.
More like a cult.
More like a HERESY!
More like a shitload of money. [editline]04:08AM[/editline] Out the window.
Off topic but I discovered a funny glitch with the steam community. It doesn't deserve a thread because its probably as old as hell but check it out. http://filesmelt.com/dl/lol_broke_steam.png ^ Tagged for size [editline].[/editline] Why do my media tags not work?
Not really related to the thread subject, buy yay I converted a console gamer to PC gaming and convinced him to get a gaming rig (and I'm well on the way to convert another one too).
Just did that, too :buddy:

Anyways, the math rooms at my school recently got those touchscreen thingamabobs. Nobody uses them properly anymore (as in, they don't use that pen thing), yet the computers still suck absolute horse cock. They take ages to boot and login. They use XP (set to classic theme), which makes me think they are somewhere around, no joke, 6 years old. Yes, they really are that shit.
I was fortunate enough to have a high school that was decent when it came to computer hardware. If I remember correctly, we had some sort of older macbooks (not sure the exact model) but they were capable. Our teacher was also pretty cool. In all honestly though, you can't really expect a school to be funding computers that will be up to the task of 3D modeling and what not, it's too specialized, just wait til college.
was having a look in currys at the laptops when i heard an employee and a customer talking C i need a new computer E what do you use it for? C email, word, stuff like that Oh and it has to be a dell, i dont want viruses both our faces dropped
