Link. Now.
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=895214 the link is coming up invalid now, but if you google the line "we met at the starbucks across from the galleria and he showed me the ipad in his car", it shows the link. I'm betting it was deleted... or my internet's acting up.

I used to think when I was little that installing new video card drivers gets me a new video card, but it just fucked up my colours and the computer went to a repair for 1 month. Also when I was little that same guy usually repaired our computer and he just formated everything and asked 50$
"Why won't my internet work? It's plugged into the wall!" Cue to acquaintance pointing at the wall socket.
My friend thought naming a notepad file "Halflife2.exe" would instantly give him a copy of Half-life 2. I was major disapointment as he takes advanced Java and C++ coding.
My friend thought naming a notepad file "Halflife2.exe" would instantly give him a copy of Half-life 2. I was major disapointment as he takes advanced Java and C++ coding.
You should slap him in the face.

My mom sent me the "Zero Sector" fake virus email. http://img97.imageshack.us/i/blckinthewhtehouse.png/ :downs:
My mom sent me the "Zero Sector" fake virus email. http://img97.imageshack.us/i/blckinthewhtehouse.png/ :downs:
I like how they didn't even bother changing the "Olympic torch" part.
My mom sent me the "Zero Sector" fake virus email. http://img97.imageshack.us/i/blckinthewhtehouse.png/ :downs:
Backup Reformat Reinstall I will give you a whole donut if you can find a virus that cannot be fixed by this.
I was once at my aunts house with family and she wanted to see some photos she just took, so I whipped out my laptop with an sd card reader and then when I removed the SD card from the camera she said "Don't leave it out for too long", I said "Why?" She replied "It damages it" WHAT THE FUCK Alright I asked how it damages it "It corrodes the metal" I replied saying it doesn't and then she replied "Yes it does, it will get a virus and corrode the metal" Fuck this shit. I then said "Screw this shit, If you are just going to be a plain ignorant idiot who doesn't research shit before you say it I'm gonna leave" and I stormed out, that was 2 years ago and I haven't talked to her since.
Backup Reformat Reinstall I will give you a whole donut if you can find a virus that cannot be fixed by this.
Oh God. If someone were to create a virus that could write itself to the BIOS so no matter how many times you reformatted it could re-install itself. :byodood::byodood::byodood::byodood::byodood:
I think some viruses actually do that. The only one that I know of was the Chernobyl virus back in '98 that corrupted the BIOS of the older computers (like before WinXP). I'm not sure what recent one would've done that; maybe the Conficker virus last year?
just flash the BIOS with a boot disk. everything they throw at me gets shot down, rapingly hard.
So many instances of Him: Why the fuck isn't it working?! I've been trying for 3 hours!! Me: Is it plugged in? Him: ...
Backup Reformat Reinstall I will give you a whole donut if you can find a virus that cannot be fixed by this.
Root-kit? It depends on how you format... If you only format a partition and don't fuck with the MBR than it's still going to be there...
My friend's dad didn't want him installing Windows XP onto his mac on another partition since a virus was CLEARLY going to go onto Windows immediately and then migrate to the mac partition and cause a meltdown. Like the computer's CPU would liquefy.

Not really computer illiterate, but this is an extremely useful tool: http://www.computerpowertest.com/ I would've never known that my computer's on!
just flash the BIOS with a boot disk. everything they throw at me gets shot down, rapingly hard.
You'll need to bring out an external programmer for most of the times, as lots of motherboards does not have any recovery functions.
I would love to see a CPU liquefy, Not a good CPU, an old shitty single core cpu.
Overclock it to 7GHz and take off the heatsink.
I highly doubt this.
After a bit of googling, I found that it's being worked on, but not working as of current. On the other hand, there are working emulators for the 360.
