Some cool stuff happened today. I went to a comic book store, chatted with a guy named Manny about video games/movies and recommended them a Contra clone, got a Steven Universe comic book, saw a comic book about that one furry Marty (It was weird to see they got a comic tbh) and stuffed myself with a bunch of fast food. My friends did suggest that I should try drawing in a sketchbook instead of using paint.net. Should I? At most I got the journal I used for this spring's semester.

i tried taking up digital drawing right away and it didnt do me great tbh, then again im trash at drawing cuz i dont do it a ton yet. im gonna switch over once i get a decent grasp of traditional drawing concepts, just so i feel more confident about it all in general
Can't really play Final Fantasy XIV as I got on late and it isn't summer or a holiday, meaning finding a group is a pain. I feel like while I am shit at drawing in general I think i'm below average at most with drawing (since at most I use art to shitpost). I mean this is an example of how good I am when it comes to drawing seriously.

not bad! i think it's worth having a sketchbook and pencil lying around, it just feels better for me. im not an artist so what do i know, but it just feels right to get a hang of the basics first on something that just feels more material and physical.
also ctrl paint is a good resource for drawing and digital art in general. cheers!
