[editline]I get what you are feeling and I can feel how much of an extra salt in the wound a denial of application is, but one way you can look at it is that they probably aren't a very good employer in the first place and you most likely will have better luck on a better establishment. I'm guessing the place just have a bunch of meaningless protocols that make it seem more professional and important than it really is, with a bunch of people in HR nothing better to do so they came up with a response requirement, and could also be something they do to avoid denied applications to have follow up messages being sent to them. I'm sure you'll fine a good and better place soon enough.[/editline]
