Fallout 4 worth $66? - General

It's a huge game, if it's 59.99$ then yeah but 66$? no

well I have yet to get the dlc wish I got it during the sale lol

It's just Fallout streamlined to be less of an RPG and more of a shooter. A lot of the RPG elements were either tossed away or watered down, the most "controversial" one being the dialogue system which is now just a selection of: Yes, Yes in a different tone, Maybe(yes) and No(yes). While it comes with its faults, it does have a good side to it. The gunplay has some weight to it now, you can have more varied armor instead of just a choice of suit and headgear, and power armor actually feels like it has some power to it instead of being just another bodysuit to slip into(while you might find their need for fusion cores to be bit of a deal breaker at first, once you get far enough in the game, you'll have an abundance of those fucking things). Story ain't something to write home about, but then again, hard to find a shooter with that in it nowadays. tl;dr: It's alright, but not anything over 60 bucks of alright.

It's [I]okay.[/I] I'd never recommend anything I describe as "okay" for $66. Wait for a price drop.

okay it's drop down to $55 ( normal price $80 )because of the new steam sale ( I was thinking of using a third party before this to pay at least $50 for it but I have the steam credit on me from x - mas already so if its not worth even that much please tell me otherwise, I plan on just forking over the payment for the game )

I personally don't think the game is worth the price it's going for. It's a decent game yeah don't get me wrong, but not for the price tag it has on it.
