• Is Vista better Than XP?

I have XP on my desktop and Vista on my laptop (both have great hardware). I don't have many things to complain about on the desktop. On my laptop I would sometimes get "automatic updates" that would hang the system during startup. Multiple times I had to start it in safe mode and do a system restore. Also, windows media player takes a whole minute to start up in Vista for some odd reason. Lastly, (I don't know if all Vista users have this problem, but I and a couple of friends do have it) the audio output does not switch automatically if you plug in speakers/headphones. You must restart the application that is playing the audio. I found that extremely annoying. I liked the files directory navigation better on Vista though, that was more user-friendly.
interface, yes. Everything else, no. Windows 7 > both
Vista < XP < Win7 A pretty simple way to explain my view.
Xp > vista > 7
Get Windows 7 It's the shit
@ release Vista was quite shit, but with SP3 it makes a trainwreck out of XP.
I detected a subtle troll thread
XP is the really grumpy old man you see on some creepy ass old house always yelling at kids to get out of his lawn Vista is the college student you see always reading and shit and always drinks at Starbucks and is pretty polite 7 is Batman in conclusion, get Windows 7
That's a pretty badass way of putting it :iia: but right now I'm using the creepy old man :smithicide:
7 is wayy better then Vista and XP
After the second service pack of vista it improved greatlu
Vista was Microsoft's try at making Linux. It still failed.
It's a Mac, for windows! It's prettier than XP, but oh god it sucks.
Vista isn't bad if you got a PC that can handle it well, since it's unecessarily resource heavy. It's an improvement, but not a big one. It's more like what the CS3 package was from Adobe, a re-design with some new functions. Windows 7 on the other hand is what the CS4 package was from Adobe, yet a new re-design but with more roots from the previous releases and more actually new functions. And generally just better too. Windows 7 is what XP and Vista combined is like. Fast, smooth and good.
XP is what im running on my work computer and it sucks ass
Not really, but Windows 7 is.
And? That's not what we're discussing here, get out.
I love how people think that Vista and 7 are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT OSes. Vista has version number 6.0. 7 has number 6.1. It's an update. I've had no problems with Vista or 7, a shitload with XP, but I'm still convinced that Windows 98 was the best OS.
