After a lot of hassle, my older bro and I went in on a $140 pair for him (that went on sale), and of course my dad HAS to give his two fucking cents, saying why am I spending this money, etc etc. I'm so fucking tired of answering and listening to him that I knew my voice dripped with attitude, and I even went as far as to roll my eyes.
Of course that pisses him off and he threatens to beat my ass. I really don't give two shits anymore though. He's threatened it so many times I want him to do it, so then he can finally feel like the big fucking man he wants to be (that beats up his own children, doesn't work, and treats his soon to be ex-wife like shit).
On top of that the stress of not having any money steadily increasing is stressful enough, especially if my mother gets this job and we move back up to Ohio, I may not have a job, and may not be able to get one with the xmas season coming up.
On top of that taking on a bigger car loan for a car I don't even want, and having to pay rent, I can't have that.
I feel like my grasp on everything is slowly coming undone, and I have no control over any of it, and the worst part? I have no one to talk to about it except by posting here.

I don't really know what do say. When my parents divorced I had to commit some unsavory actions, so I can really empathize. There is not, much I can say other than I hope things get better for you, and whatever happens try not to give in to violent urges, as that only makes things worse.

Since then, there were some posts to Yik Yak threatening that someone was going to go to Mizzou and shoot every black person they saw. The verbiage was apparently similar to that which the shooter in Seattle posted before he made his move. It was found the posts were made by a kid at a university in the same system as Mizzou but an hour and a half away. He was arrested the next day (the threats were made late the night before and by 6 am he was in custody) and since the police were able to track him down before school started, school was still in session with increased security.
In the time between the posts and the arrest, there were false rumors of KKK and other dangerous groups meeting actually on-campus and the general climate was still very shaky due to the threats so a lot of people were choosing to go home or to friends' houses and skip class the next day so as to avoid anything that might happen on campus. (As a side note, as a college student in a town only a couple hours away, we were all freaking out about it as well. The evening the threats came out a lot of students were panicking over the rumors and they were getting blown out of proportion due to fear, so most of Missouri was hanging onto twitter trying to follow what was happening.)
Although Mizzou did post when the guy was captured, at first the school didn't send out mass alerts informing all students what exactly was going on so as to avoid frightening people. And since they were working with the police, they didn't want to say anything to let the kid making the threats know they were onto him.
Many students took the silence as lack of concern over students' well being since it was a threat made specifically to black students.
Many professors did cancel classes even after the culprit was in custody, though some chose not to since the school hadn't said there was any remaining danger. One professor in particular made news because he still held a mandatory exam that day, and a lot of people are criticizing him for not considering that, due to the circumstances, the vast majority of black students wouldn't be in class due to fears for their own safety, and, in the email he sent to his students, he compared not taking the test to 'letting a bully win.' That professor has since turned in a resignation. Edit: apparently he did offer a makeup exam, though.
Also since then, the Student Body President admitted he had spread the false info about the KKK meeting that night to encourage people on campus to be even more cautious, though he may or may not have believed it was true when he had spread it.
And that pretty much brings us to today.
