This thread is now about who would win, Rangers or British Army during American Revolutionary War.
What if it was the entire british army versus a single tank with a never ending supply of ammunition?
Who would win?
Throw a grenade or two and they would freak out every time you threw a rock at them.

A. Exactly half of the British Army deserts out of fear. (Not that one could blame them considering their enemy.)
B. The Rangers don't miss any head shot.
C. None of the Rangers are killed.
D. Every ranger is carrying a rifle with 30 shots to a mag.
Each one would have to carry 18 mags of ammo, plus 1 mag in the gun, to win.
Some more math later, that's 19lb of ammunition. Discounting food and other supplies, this seems quite fucking do-able, even against their entire army. Especially if you consider the lack of armor, tactics, and medical treatment the British would face.

Not so sure about half running from fear. Revolutionary era British soldiers were trained and disciplined to the [I]max[/I]. I have no doubts that some will run, but half is very far fetched.
