It's a singing contest for Europe that took place yesterday and Germany won with the song "Satelite" by Lena Meyer-Landrut.

It's a Singing contest in which every European country can participate. They start in semi-finals and if they get enough votes they can pass onto the finals.
Personally i think it's all a bunch of bullshit. This contest has become about Politics, voting for the countries next to you, disregarding their songs and not voting for the truly great songs that have participated in this years contest.
A lot of people we're disappointed when Lithuania didn't even make it to the finals
