I'd had a copy of Portal for like 6 months before that but didn't realize it required an internet connection to install and we had no internet before then.
July 15th, 2008.
Garry's Mod was the first game I played. Got it with Half Life 2.
2007, downloaded it and registered because I thought it'd let me download games for free. When I discovered it didn't, I let it rust until 2009, that's when my best friend showed me TF2. Now I'm using the account on a daily basis.

I had an old account that I refused to use because I wanted to clear my name since I started shit.
I made an account in 2008 around January. Steam was cool, glad I was trying it out. I was about eleven at the time. I'm fifteen now. The only games I knew about were Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. I played it so goddamned much. There was this one server called mIkes that I would play on. It had a mod where you could spawn props.
I wanted Garry's Mod so bad, but my parents wouldn't let me get it. I was at the age where I couldn't get money or buy debit cards and couldn't buy jack shit. A few years passed, and I was 13 and I had made a new account. I was now able to buy GMod.
Was fucking awesome, but I was a little shit when I made my first steam account.
