romanians are obsesed of cs 1.6, you can go there.
Go to your mom's basement. You'll be there for a while if you choose this path in life.
Why even suggest Romania? Just punch him in the face.
OP, just because you do well in a pub doesn't means you will do well in a scrim.
Its a HUGE, and I repeat, HUGE difference.
When I was into that some years ago, I would go into scrims that we got through mIRC. The bastards always lied about their skill level or we actually were really bad players, but toping the score board, anyone can do. Fight a coordinated team? Nope.
But OP is not Korean
A white guy, Destiny, is in the grandmaster league, top 250. He destroyed Idra at one point in time, because roaches were metagame. Denied.
I personally prefer to keep business and pleasure separate entities.
Start topic about professional gaming.
Turns into talk about Life in Sweden.

Probably the only way you're going to get money off of games is creating and recording some decent gameplays, uploading them to YouTube and going for partnership.
Even then it's very unlikely you'll get much, just stop looking for excuses to waste away in front of a monitor, and do something productive, like study for exams or something to get a decent job.
Or learn to program or 3d model

You can buy admin for 20 dollar too.
I like how OP makes professional gaming sound like a walk in the park.
The amount of time you need to spend GRINDING these games is inhumane.
you've gotta go on ED and register your 1337 cs1.6 clan

"I TOP IN PUBS SO I AM PR0!"
It's a hell of a struggle to even get INTO the professional gaming circuit, let alone become a highly ranked player in it. You would be much better off by putting this as your second goal behind being successful in school which leads on to better, higher paying jobs than gaming. Have fun trying though :)

YEAH WELL MY SPY SCORE IS 65 IN ONE LIFE SUCK IT F4G!!!
just cause you place top in pub games doesn't mean you're ready for pro circuits. thats like being good at highschool football and expecting to get drafted in the NFL
Go to centrelink.

This is a understatement

OP believes that he can make business out of pleasure.
Little does he realize that once you make your pleasure your business it's less pleasure anymore, especially in gaming.
Being a musician is somewhat the same, you can have fun playing and being in a band but doing it for living means grinding your ass in shitty clubs with very little chance to actually be succesful. I'd say doing music for living is even better and more rewarding than gaming for living.
There are places you can go to make money off gaming, however you will need a lot more skill then your current 120 hours in CSS. You also won't be getting any consistent cash but there are sponsored tournaments in which you can make quite a lot. Don't count on it though.
I know my uncle played cs 1.6 for a professional living some time ago, sounded awesome :v:
This is like an official sport in South Korea. The amount of gamers is extremely high there, and tournaments are held throughout the country regularly. Here in the US, there's summer sports camps, in South Korea, there's summer Starcraft camps.
Don't do it, because Fags who thing MLG is cool can piss off.
Seriously, you're not prooving anything just because you can beat me at Black Ops. It requires virtually no skill, talent, or practice and isn't something to be proud of because you wasted your fucking time on gaming.
However, if you're not in it for thee cred then good for you, as you don't suck. Personally, I have no suggestions. Local tournaments are a start, but just look around. You'll come across some eventually. I still think it's better to not have to bother with a tournament. The only real bonus over Online Multiplayer is the fact that if someone is shit-talking you in a Tournament, you can personally beat the shit out of them. (Citation Needed)

"L0L I GOT SKILZ CUZ I CAN TUBE AND MY NAME IS XXXQUlCKSC0PEXXX FAGGET!!" Don't you just hate little kids like that?
To Op, I wouldn't do it. Get a real job and enjoy your life. Now Lans parties have at it. I'd like to go to lan parties but I live in the most rural area of the fucking state.
Also, 250th post. Yay!
Daddy what caused the video game crash of 2014?
Son, it was MLG fags and on disc DLC.
Remember Pro Gaming is gaming for a living... Play tournaments a lot not MLG status though. Is all I can give you...

But all Koreans have +10 intellect as a racial passive, so social life isn't important to them.

Alot of puns here..
I'd go to lan, but no-one wants to play with me. Probably because I always am the best.. I can't try to play worse, then they just get cocky and stomp on me.. :tinfoil:

Best: Contant MVP, not ego
If your really good then you can make a living out of it. In fact top sc2 players are payed a whole fuckton of money.
Unfortunately that really only applies to grandmaster players in SC2, of which there is only 200 in each region. It can extend somewhat to extremely high masters players but that is kinda rare.
isnt there a one million dollar tournament for BF3? Go win that.
isnt there a one million dollar tournament for BF3? Go win that.
I would, but I have around 4-5000 dollars to pay just to make my computer ready for it. Then I need to buy the game
