I think the earliest website I can remember is halo.bungie.org, which I remember because it had those little changing pictures in the corner when you loaded or refreshed a page.
I used to go there all the time in like 2004 because I was a big fan of Halo (thanks to my Dad :v: who obtained Halo on PC)

Oh yeah and taking it in turns on our 56k modem to go on the internet, me and my brother had a deal where one of us could use it in the morning, and the other used in the afternoon. Halo 1 stunt/glitch servers with 200 ping were awesome
