He didn't win because Fox news said so. No one wins because of what the news says. He won because he got more electoral votes. the reason for the shitstorm was because he lost the popular vote but won overall because he had the electoral votes and Kerry didn't.

Seriously, if the water mark wasn't there, people would've just rated late and moved on.
