It's a result of lmao pics being either extremely intolerant of any non-lmao content or completely lenient and unmoderated. Sometimes you can write posts with no images at all and get away with it and at other times that's asking for a ban. This means that any off-topic posts are potentially a recursive shitstorm the result of which is more bans.
