There's an article someone here about it, I'll find it later.

DRM is fine when done right, like how pirated copies of Serious Sam 3 had a giant invincible pink scorpion that followed and attacked you until you quit the game. I'm also pretty sure pirated Arkham Asylum copies didn't allow you to glide.
