When you are terrified of the dark like I am, you have a tendency to know where every light source in your house is and which switch does what.
I know what every switch in my house does, even the ones that aren't hooked up.
For example, the switch second from the left at the front door doesn't do anything, because it used to light up two lights that sat atop pillars at the end of our drive way. These pillars were taken down before we moved into the house, thus making the switch do nothing.

I do believe this is from the first game. If I remember correctly, as above the fairy just states you may come into problems due to it not being a legal copy. What it means is Dragon Eggs randomly vanishing from your collection and the game wiping it's saves off the memory card

Easy enough to beat the game with effectively 0 eggs, there are so many glitches that you can use to get straight to the exit portals to the next zone.
