I don't really believe in them.
But I've always wanted to stay the night at a "haunted house".
I've always figured that if some scary ghost just happens to jump out and kill me... then I'll just come back as one also..
Being a ghost would be completely bad ass.
much more believable than thinking some big guy made everything.
So you mean like a god.
conscious beings beyond our plane of identification can interact with our world
uhhhhh
No, I don't believe in anything supernatural or religious or anything like that because I am boring
Of course not, I thought only little kids believe in ghosts.
I saw a ghost when I was a kid, one day I told my science teacher in class. He made fun of my story for the rest of the day.
No.
I do somewhat believe in ghosts, partially because my house is haunted. Seriously.
Partially. I believe in demonic possessions.
Nope.
Nah, ghosts doesn't make sense
I believe in ghosts, If you believe in spirits and souls, then you must be extremely stupid if you don't believe in ghosts.

I don't believe in souls, most of our personality, nay our entire consciousness has been linked directly to brain. So what purpose and characteristics does this so called "soul" have?
The fact that you're atheist is irrelevant by the way.

Think of it more this way, Your soul is the driver, and your body is the vehicle, and to address the consciousness part.
imagine your body locked inside a vehicle, i mean, like... arms legs, head locked in place and etc, and that you could only leave via death, therefore the characteristics only really come out later, or unless you can the meditation mumbo-jumbo

I'm really sorry where is all this coming from? Oh right unfounded belief, got it. You can use metaphors all you want, but until I hear something even remotely based on any sort of fact I'm not budging.
I also believe in the tooth fairy, the yeti and god!
:smug: Actually no.

Or then you could just accept that there is no such thing as soul, just your brain. And by the way your brain won't work when you're dead...
yes
also
zombie goasts leave this place!
Not until I see one.
I guess everyone has thier own opinions. I've had alot of experiences in my life that couldn't be explained through common sense so that's why I'm kind of interested on the subject.
