Your never supposed to put your ACTUAL first thing online. Your supposed to be working at learning for five years until you have a suitable one to put online. Then you claim it is your first one so people assume your naturally talented.
Maybe that's what he did.
Image is horribly pasted and aliased. Second image isn't even better, you just used the contrast / saturate function.
If you're going to add effects and anti-alias measures apply them to the layer of the man and the man only. It takes a lot of effort to make an amazing photo, and if you aren't entitled to taking individual time into every aspect that'll change opinions, you aren't cut to really be a photo editor.
Practice makes perfect, it ain't all that bad and I sure as hell can't make any better because I don't even use photoshop a lot.
No man. Practice makes PERMANENT. Practice the wrong way then there is no turning back unless you put in 10 times the effort and time.
Oh god, I don't even know were to start. Are you struggling in English class? because it really looks like it.
You're probably the worst poster I've seen on this forum in years.
Just leave.

dont say that maybe he will learn it the wrong way and come out with some crazy shit that no one else can do. he could breed hiself into his own individuality. kinda like if someone learned to play the guitar backwards, that would be fucking cool
wallpaper'd
Wow, you guys are being a bit tough on him.
English isn't his first language.
It's his first one, and within ~20 minutes, he can do better then I can and I've been using Photoshop for several years. (Mostly for drawing, but still...)
It's not terrible.
Wanna see bad?

This is bad.
Actually, that's not so bad. Better then his at any rate.
wow this is so good
how much do you want for it duuuuuuuude?
Hate to say it, but you're all kinda being dicks. Think of it this way he is like a lost girl wondering down a dark ally and you guys are a crowd of rapists surrounding him and taunting before of course raping. Just advise him he's in the wrong place.
Everyone seems to be forgetting that they were all beginners at some point. Keep practicing, and you'll go far, kid.

The fuck does that have to do with this?
Its pretty bad, but considering that it's your first image I'd say don't worry about it.
The fact that the rifle (FNL?) is just randomly attached to his back without anything to hold it up was funny though.

What got me is how low-res and cartoony it is.
Its pretty bad man, but don't be discouraged by all the posts here. Just practice and put more time into your work. Also, think about if the photo would make sense, as you want it to seem as realistic as possible. Why would you be looking down when there are zombies literally right in front of you. You kinda look like your veering off and about to fall over. Also the rifle on his back looks terribly unfitting, try getting a better looking picture next time. Also try to refrain from using saturation and contrast so heavily. In small amounts it looks good, but when you put it that high, it can look really terrible. One last thing, emoticons such as :P, :D and :) are generally frowned upon here, so your better of just using :v: . Remember, if it's something you enjoy doing, don't give up, everybody has to start somewhere.
Cropping out something

And then adding some details to make it look less rough around the edges
