Its freakin beautiful
Might be one of the best mp3 - midi converters. It seems it tends to get most of the song right but can occasionally burst into flames at random intervals and often sprinkles the midi with junk notes. I admire it's a ability to create "drum" sounds out of massive clumps of piano though. It can sometimes be bearable to listen to.
I did 2, First one was something I thought it might handle moderately well.
Run from Hotline Miami 2: http://my.mixtape.moe/trxabj.mp3
as you can see it got most of the intro down aside from a few junk notes, quickly breaks down when it gets more complex. It gets pretty much spot on with the more calm parts.
I decided next to do Hotline Theme: https://my.mixtape.moe/frwwoj.mp3
More or less the same result, intro worked quite well, but it stays relatively sane for a while. The junk notes aren't very pleasant but it got most of the essentials down.
I found an eerie effect though, If you run speech through it and play it back you can still sort of hear the speech despite it being made entirely out of pianos.
