How about we all agree that we don't hate fandoms, we just hate morons who make everyone else in the fandom seem like they're an exact copy of them.
In this case, we can see how the entire pony fanbase is represented by some anon who took the time to write a paragraph about a horse's penis. Thereby making everyone else seem like they "want big Macintosh's huge dick in their mouth".

Those who cannot accept other people's opinions and tastes. For they are not a rational bunch and often enough very vocal about it.
And ponies/furries/anyone-else-really that take their interest way too far and force it in your face in a fashion that crosses the line of decency and respectability. More or less picture those ever infamous examples of why the average person dislikes furries.

I don't really see anything bad about the Portal community. I haven't seen any cake jokes in a while, but I was quite annoyed by how much people were obsessed with the " SPEHHSSSS! " joke, but that sort of died out as well. Aside from that the Portal community is extremely tolerable from what I've seen.

I have nothing against the games, but it's fanbase is just retarded. I don't even know how to describe it, it's just like everything that's bad about the sonic fanbase combined with everything that's bad about Nintendo's fanbase, with the added bonus of people who severely overanalyze everything about the game while completely ignoring the fact that it isn't really a fighting game but rather a modified Kirby game with fighting in it. And the latter group of people are the only ones that still talk about the actual games, everyone else just goes "durr I make awsome self-insert flash animation using poorly resized stolen sprites that don't fit together at all, rate 10 pls."

That will end once people on both sides of the field abandon the idea that Bronies encompass the entirety of the MLP fanbase and people begin to recognize them as an identity rather than a fandom. But for those outside the fanbase to reach this point, those inside must disown the Bronies, and they have not yet done that.
Those MLP fans who are truly different from Bronies have no need to apologize for their behavior. The sooner they realize this, the sooner they'll be free of association.
...And to those of you MLP fans that have rated me agree, I ask you this: Do you want to be different because you actually believe a fan doesn't need to be like a brony, or are you simply trying to escape those who hate them? Because doing the latter won't help you.

I haven't had much experience with the community but I will tell you one thing. There's this website called THE BEST GAMERS who did a highly negative review on the game. THE BEST GAMERS is a satirical website and it's so obvious the review isn't serious. Most people have that figured out but their Minecraft review is on of the few reviews that has met more negative responses than positive ones. I think it's just one of those cases where the fanbase takes the game too seriously.
