It's just the whole thing about 2 year old school girls and knee high socks just bothers me.
I know that all anime is not this, but still.
I don't mind any fandom all too much, really. I can see why someone might like a Mac, My Little Pony, Homestuck, anime, or whatever. People can like whatever they want as much as they want, and talk about and enjoy it as much as they want, I don't really care.
It only becomes annoying when people try to get me to like something that I don't like. I don't mind My Little Pony avatars or people who use Macs, but I don't think MLP is a great show, and I don't want a Mac.
MLP, Bieber, Minecraft, Apple.
I'm fine with them liking it but some of the things these fans say almost make my brain physically tear itself out of my skull.

The art is like that intentionally because Hussie(The creator of homestuck and MSPA) had a minimalist style set out so he could do multible panels in a short amount of time. Also the consensus on how far to know homestuck is for you is at the end of act 1. Though 247(act 1's length) pages seems a bit long in my opinion, Most of them are a single line of description with a single picture or a flash page that speaks for itself, with a few lengthy pesterlogs scattered around.

It gets MUCH better for a long time, and then promptly gets bogged down with troll time travel shit in the second half of Act 5. I have stopped following it. It might be my loss, I don't know. :C
