Metalheads are really annoying. I was working on a lua project with one, and he would not stop trying to get me to start listening to metal. For the most part, I don't care what others listen to. If you want somebody to get an idea of what you like, that's fine. But trying over and over every day to get you to listen to a certain genre is just ridiculous.
Every fandom that can't fathom that others might not like what they like.

I don't think it qualifies as a "fandom" but people who use "The cake is a lie", especially those who don't know where the phrase came from.
Oh god, in lit and comp last year we were going over common phrases, idioms, etc. This complete retard said that he knew one. The teacher asked him what it was, and he said "The cake is a lie." She got all confused, and he said "It's a saying". I was silently raging until after class, when I found out he didn't even know what Portal was. I filled him in on the story and told him to to be careful with what he says next time.

Yep. It's a shame because I actually like EA (or, rather, I used to), but her fan base is just atrocious. I feel almost sorry for her; I can't imagine what it's like to have those people constitute your fanbase.
I never got the MLP thing, at first I thought it was some joke until I realized people were really that obsessed. They even had a MLP stand at Comic-Con.
I mean wtf, the show is only like a year old, and they have a fan base bigger than most things past 10 years old. And it was made by the Foster's Home people, why don't they obsessed over Fosts?

I can't really hate fandoms, since it's so hard to distinguish trolls from actual fandom people. Personally, I hate the people that bring their fandoms to where it isn't wanted in general. This doesn't just go for the better-known fandoms like the furry-fandom, bronies/MLP, CoDkids and so forth, but also for religions and activist groups.
