if you are able to get it i have heard virgin is quite good but you need to have cable run into the house and i don't know what the pricing is like.
otherwise if you can get it, Be/O2. be has better customer service but if one of your housemates has an O2 mobile, you can get a discount on their internet and it works out ever so cheap

back from scotland for summer now - worked my arse off and saved some monies. went to venice, moved into my student house (currently sorting it out, building bookcases and shit - but i'm all here on my own :( ) and then off to barcelona on the 6th for a few days with my dad, hurrah.
so all in all pretty swell, can't wait for uni to start again :D
