Check the link. The image has been fabricated from a video and those round things look like parts of the submarine or whatever it's floating around, likely a pipeline or something.
They look like baby striders

Man made oil rig things. Not sure what they do.

It really shows you just how alien the sea floor is to us, when an image of one of its lifeforms looks like it could easily be from a probe sent to an alien world. If someone showed me this for the first time and said it was from an alien planet, I'd believe it (ignoring obvious hoax-ness surrounding alien "sightings").

A deep sea invertebrate was the inspiration for the Xenomorphs from Alien.

Expect some Kaijus to show up soon.

Oblivion was fairly close. They didn't get the torquing right, or the resulting "you don't know which pin the pressure is currently on" effect, but that's a reasonable sacrifice in the name of gameplay.
Unfortunately, even with that simplification I guess too many people found it easier to just spam "auto-pick" instead of actually do it. Especially once you got the unbreakable pick. So I guess that's why they changed it further for Skyrim.
fallout and skyrim were wrong??????
I don't even know what the hell Fallout And Skyrim were trying, but Oblivion almost had it IIRC?
I can't remember if Oblivion had you do them all in order or what, but it worked on a similar principle.

The smoke stack was the most recognizable and defining thing of the Chernobyl incident. Almost every photograph of the incident had it in the photo.

Two things I find weird about this painting.
One, that almost-skeleton looking thing in the bottom right corner. It looks like it's wearing a weird mask, but doesn't really fit in with the rest of the characters in the painting.
And two, the skeleton holding a knight (a king maybe?) in the far left. The way it's holding that hourglass, and the fact that it's holding an hourglass, is kind of weird

Death is often holding an hourglass, it portrays time.

This is a saute of Death at the Gate of Death in the Vatican.

He has the hourglass too. Tarot cards often have death holding an hour glass too.
That's something I did not know.
But then what about the creepy guy with the mask on the far right?
I'm more curious about the non-racist portrayal of black people for such an old painting
I think its a skeleton wearing someone's face
The painting basically shows what happens to 95% of new dark souls players
