The E-10 with it's instant hull down feature is pretty cool.

There's something magical about trains in snowy landscapes.

Picture of the 761st Tank Battalion, a tank battalion consisting of (mostly) black men.
And also a picture of the 442nd Infantry Regiment:
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6e/442_regimental_combat_team.jpg[/t]
This was a regiment that (mostly) consisted of Americans of Japanese descent. It is considered to be the most decorated Infantry Regiment in the US Army's history.
Also a picture of a Fallschirmjeager firing an MG42 that I colored myself:

That is way harder than it looks. During my conscription a MG-man in our squad tried that during a simulated firefight. He couldn't hit a thing, and almost fell backwards due to the recoil.
Machineguns are heavy as fuck.
Why the hell is he holding it by the vent/hand guard? It still gets hot as shit even if it's a hand guard. At least have an asbestos glove, or hold the bipod.

This picture was probably taken before he fell over because of the recoil :v:
Or he's a super Aryan übermensch who can fire MG42's from the shoulder

You can see he's holding it very loosely though.

The gloves were only issued to the loaders/barrel changers, and holding it by the bipod he wouldn't be able to shoulder, which is why he's holding it by the vent. It's most likely a staged photo anyways. He wouldn't be able to pick it up like that if he fired more than a few rounds, and firing a GPMG from a standing position is wildly impractical.
Thats why if you want to fire while standing up with a MG-42, you have to ask your loader real-real nicely to plug his ears and stand still

No, stupid. Can't you see the dangling cables.
You obviously have to lean out the window and swing yourself across the gap from cable to cable.

This could be a game cover or a movie poster, with a little editing and lense flare.

Could someone name the guns they're holding?
Could someone name the guns they're holding?
The one on the left looks like a Tom, the one on the right looks like a Stephen, and I think the middle one's a George. Possibly Georgia.
Could someone name the guns they're holding?
One on the far right I'm pretty sure is a Hecate anti-materiel rifle. The middle one is probably a modern variant of a L118A* or a L115A*, hard to tell cause I can't tell if it has a thumbhole stock or not. And the Frenchie on the left looks like a FRF2.

I tried. In my defence, I don't know gimp nearly as well as I know photoshop, and I spent maybe 15 minutes on it.

That camouflage is rubbish It only took me 10 minutes to find all 3 snipers in that picture.

I deleted the gimp file with all the layers and everything, and I don't wanna have to do it all again, but I did add like, 16% more 'MURRICA.

Laser rangefinder-Thermal-NOD optics combo.
What's with the giant ass scope on the left one's gun?
I'm assuming low light or infrared optic.

an insanely over priced and unwieldy spotter scope
[editline]23rd November 2013[/editline]
it can use infrared, black and white or white and black, night vision, make toast, broil a sandwich, stir fry, pan fry, deep fry, bake, and even microwave.
