He was quickly accused by the (white police) of ‘killing’ two little (white girls) with lack of evidence. His conviction and sentencing opened and closed in one day. There were no witnesses called and there was no transcript of the trial details and black people were not allowed inside the courtroom during that time. reminder that society was like this not too long ago
When the bear traveled with the Polish army to Europe to fight alongside the British in the Italian Campaign, they soon figured out that having animals as mascots was banned. This was when the bear came to be enlisted as Private Wojtek (smiling warrior) among the soldiers of the 22nd Artillery Supply Company of the Polish II Corps. It was in the Battle of Monte Cassino that Wojtek achieved the status of a war hero. Several accounts have been provided of his services in transporting numerous crates of ammunition, without dropping a single one. When the war ended in 1945, the bear was sent to Berwickshire in Scotland, along with a few of his fellow soldiers.
http://www.odditycentral.com/pics/private-wojtek-the-soldier-bear-who-fought-nazis-in-ww2.html

no laserdisc 0/10
no laserdisc 0/10
Laserdiscs were late 70's-early 80's and I don't think they were predominately used for computer storage because of how unwieldy they were and how expensive laser disc readers were. 25 years ago was 1988, so everything in that photo is all 80's and 90's stuff.

Technically Magneto Optical took the role of Laserdiscs for data storage in 1987 or '88. Last I heard it had capacities up to 9.1gb per cartridge. FUN FACT: The floppy disk was an accident at IBM.

I hope a company arrives and brings back the old fashioned animation style, although it's probably not a viable business option since it's so slow an expensive compared to most of todays animation.

I haven't heard of Disney in a while, what are they making now?
