Encrypted memory stick for 250 dollars?
Damn, I could do the same thing for 5 quid and an hour
Yeah, a lot of those seem high. The batarangs could probably be done for $50 in steel, maybe $200 if you use some weird metal like titanium. But $1,000?
And a million dollars for the cowl, not including any of the electronics? Bullshit.

Lmao, making a blade out of titanium?
Anyone who knows the first thing about blades knows that, unless you're making one for a really really corrosive environment (i.e. saltwater), you avoid titanium like the plague
Solid diamond sword blade is the way to go.

I do believe in the movies when making the cowl, they mentioned something about buying in bulk (and by bulk, I mean a helluva lot). Might be why that price is so high as compared to other things, which are made from metal stock and such.
I always want to see what that street art looks like from other angles

It would shatter fairly easily too. Hardness doesn't equate to tensile strength.

Actually diamond has one of the highest tensile strengths of any material known.
What you mean is strain. How much a material can stretch before breaking

Yeah, I think I mixed up my terms. But the point is still valid. A fully diamond blade would break far easier than some of the people in this thread are thinking.

Yea, it wouldn't be able to absorb blows
Yea, it wouldn't be able to absorb blows
Absorb blows?
Swordfighting isn't like in movies, parrying isn't done often because it tends to screw up your sword.
Yea, it wouldn't be able to absorb blows
I agree with the above. You know how metal dents when you hit it? Try hitting it with something sharp. Swords tended to be sharpened after use, if you tried hacking and slashing you'd blunt or wreck your sword.

You hit anything with your sword, be it people, sword or armour, it flexes slightly. Absorbing excess energy. It would be like making a sword out of glass or cast iron. It would break when you use it

Edge-on-edge parrying isn't done often. You parry with the flat of the blade.
And while parrying definitely isn't too common in shortsword fighting (especially when using a shield), it's common in longsword combat and ubiquitous in fencing.
