A friend of mine posted an article on Facebook about a dog that was put up for adoption. A dog that happens to have 2 noses, with a nostril each, appropriately named [I]Snuffles[/I].

Sadly people aren't adopting him because of his deformity. He was adopted recently, but the home didn't work out, and now he's back up.
I think he looks adorable. Hell, I'd adopt him if I didn't own 6 bunnies! My old dog who's recently passed got along fine with em, but he was old, tired, and just didn't bother with em. A new dog though? Doubt it'd be a safe combination.

It doesn't even seem like that much of a deformity. Like, at first glance I thought there was just a weird shadow on the middle part of it's nose.

They're more impressive in person than in photos. People come from the other side of the world to watch the procession and the burning of the galley. Everything is made from scratch as well, which is pretty cool. The only thing is, that once you've seen the procession and galley burning once, you've seen it every year. During the day when the Jarl Squad are going around the town, you get to see the different shields, helmets and general wear they have on, but when the procession starts, because Shetland is so far North in the UK, it's pitch black and you see nothing other than the torches.

That's not to say that it's not pretty badass though. Going around all day with a shitload of old style armour, carrying a shield and axe, then carrying round what is essentially a giant match (people frequently get ash and sparks in their eyes), and then setting a traditional Viking ship the fuck on fire and watching it burn.

They look silly. I wish they were more realistic. The ship burning and all the torches looks cool though.

It is, but it's also incredibly abused as a term. A lot of people who say they have trypophobia base it off the repulsive images you find on google if you search for the term. Those images are just horrible to look at, you don't need a phobia to be digusted by them.

That birth sign lights up nearly twice for every death, and not every death is violent, some are peaceful and calm. There'll come a time when most of us don't really mind passing away, especially in old age. Two bundles of joy (or misery and distress for 2 years, then joy) for every death.
