The point of carpet bombing isn't really to kill people, it's to destroy infrastructure and break moral. Carpet bombing is a terror tactic, it's not meant to be terribly effective, it's just meant to be as horrifying as possible to those in the city and those fighting. If you're a soldier out in the field and you hear on the radio or read in the newspaper that your home town was hit by 40 tons of American bombs, it's going to make you worry about your loved ones non stop until you return home.

Pretty, but apparently it is rotoscoped, meaning the guy traced it over footage. Which given today's technology you can overlay something and pause it frame by frame and trace, it just kind of seems to lack skill in my eyes. Feels more like something to respect for the time put into it, rather than the actual work done.
