how come i never bumped into Fett in Jedi Academy?
Think he's on Ord Mantell - it's one of the mission choices after Vader's castle.
The one where you've got to find abandoned Rebel weapons caches IIRC.

That reminds me I have an old 50 Reichsmark note circa 1938 some where around here.

I also went into an abandoned railroad workshop about 2 years ago and found these in a drawer on a work bench. The workshop is now mostly burnt down by arsonists, I used to enjoy going there often because it was dark and spooky, broken glass everywhere, old broken engineering equipment and instruments, and spare parts for them. I really wish I took some photos but I always went at night time and it was too dark. The entrance was an old recreation hall which was full of rubbish and oil barrels. Going behind the hall was a burnt down building which was the old office building. There was meeting hall next to that and then another 2 story building surrounded by glass, ladders that lead to the 2nd floor. It was another workshop with a big cutting machine in it. Past that was the main workshops with some death ray looking machine probably used for torture. At the end of the workshop was a big warehouse, with old banners and equipment from exhibitions etc. Finally there was another office building attached to the warehouse with a bunch of empty rooms except one with hundreds of bottles of unopened water bottles, best before 2006. Sorry about this long text with no pictures to go with it, but have these engineering note books from the 1930's-40's I found:

If anyone in Australia wants them and it doesn't cost to much to send them they can have them. (This is relevant because the Reichsmark note was under the note books.)
Half-Life 2 by way of Unreal Engine 4.

People are doing some pretty awesome things now that the engine is out.
Gross, chromatic aberration
Pretty neat looking otherwise
There's very little of it, and how is it "gross"?
It looks stupid when it's in excessive amounts, but works a lens imperfection effect in small amounts.

Also, that's Unreal Engine 3, not 4.

I already get enough of it thanks to my glasses, I don't need more, shit makes my head hurt
And most of the time you don't look through a camera when playing a game, I don't see why there should be any lens related effects
I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. I think he just wanted to add an extra level of realism to the shots, as if they were taken with an actual camera.
I saw that on ValveTime this morning. Neat stuff
you missed my point completely. people say the prequels shouldn't have happened because they were shitty movies. fett surviving the sarlacc is different because it almost goes beyond shitty writing; it defies the canon itself (correct me if i'm wrong but isn't he the only person to ever have survived it?)
it's not "this shouldn't have happened because it's bad", it's "this makes no sense within the established universe and only happened to please the fans". it's comparable to batman beating the hulk, or venom throwing superman around
yeah imo nobody else got thrown into the sarlaac with full body armor and several super-futuristic military grade explosives on their person

The Schienenzeppelin or Rail Zeppelin.

Huh, I wonder why that idea never took off
On topic of boba fett:
I got this Star wars Lexica around here somewhere and it says, that he nearly died but got rescued by Dengar, a fellow bounty hunter and colleague of fett. It's the guy in brown, with this white turban-thingy posted a page earlier on the cover.
As far as I know, this is actual confirmed canon.
And I don't know why you guys are upset about it, I mean boba fett is the most badass bounty hunter ever. He fell down there by a ridiculous accident, how can you guys say it's not justified for this top-notch killer to escape somehow?
I mean he even fought off Darth Vader in a fight and he doesn't have force or some kind of shit. Vader did.
Boba is ridiculous in how many overly awesome things have been attached to him to the point that he's the most super duper awesome competent bestest guy ever just because a lot of people thought his armour looked cool.

And yet he fell into the sarlacc because Han Solo accidentally touched his jetpack.
And would've died if not for Dengar
Boba is a whiney little shit if you ever watch the prequels/ clone wars tv series.

Wait, you mean that a kid whose dad was killed by jedi knights while on a job and is growing up amidst a war populated by genetically altered versions of himself has issues and trouble coping?
Get outta town.

Well, when I went through that phase of life, I mastered it gloriously duh!
mind explaining what that is
That's george lucas saying very clearly about a certain someone being killed.
And yet he fell into the sarlacc because Han Solo accidentally touched his jetpack.

Solo, who is another Star wars EU badass, shot his jetpack and disabled it. Now, jetpacks aren't exactly like planes or even helo's where they can glide for a few minutes once their engines die; with a jetpack you fall straight outta the fuckin' sky just like Fett did.

These are on actual churches. On a related note, what most people refer to as gargoyles are actually called grotesques. Gargoyles are essentially decorative water spouts that direct rain water away from the building.
i knew of that Vader one but damn the Alien is impressive
no second mouth 0/10
That's george lucas saying very clearly about a certain someone being killed.
Honestly, Lucas is the last person I refer to on what's canon in star wars these days. Mostly because the ideas he keeps coming up with are absolute trash.
The EU has a lot of shit in it, no argument there, but theres a handful of gold nuggets in there that I don't want to see removed because disney can't be assed to work with the per-existing media.
