i think this thread needs more sci-fi
Wouldn't a cannon that high up provide too much recoil? As juvinile as it would be, the best option would probably be a cannon dick :v:
Judging by the spikes on its toes and the pads on the knees and it seems there are pistols on the "neck", i'd imagine that it crouches forward and lifts the cannon up and probably braces itself by holding on to something. Otherwise i would definitely agree with you. [editline] April 21 2014 [/editline] There also seems to be a brace on its back, just behind the arm and there's likely one on the other side, so perhaps it just leans back on those? I'm probably looking into this too much :v:
Guy shoving suicide jumper
Why is he only wearing socks for?
Humanoid mecha aren't very practical in warfare. Too tall, too many weak spots, too easy to topple; the list goes on. The only thing they have going for them is they look cool as fuck.
Why is he only wearing socks for?
better grip while climbing probably. [editline]21st April 2014[/editline]
Humanoid mecha aren't very practical in warfare. Too tall, too many weak spots, too easy to topple; the list goes on. The only thing they have going for them is they look cool as fuck.
Too many weakspots, you mean like the tracks on a tank? :v: Also early tanks weren't really shining examples of no weak spots either. Another problem is that people think they'd be replacing tanks, rather than being another specialized vehicle. Hovercrafts didn't replace boats. The one in that picture seems like it would be good as an anti armor/building/emplacement sniper, being able to move around pretty fast, while being able to lock down and fire a couple shots before moving again.
Too many weakspots, you mean like the tracks on a tank? :v:
Bad news; even if a tank throws a track or loses a road wheel or spoke, it can still turn it's turret and fuck shit up. If a mecha loses a leg, GG game over you tried. It'll fall flat on it's face and be useless until it's destroyed or recovered.
Also early tanks weren't really shining examples of no weak spots either.
Neither were early cars with wood wheels, but nobody is saying we should replace round wheels with triangles. And thats not really entirely true.
Another problem is that people think they'd be replacing tanks, rather than being another specialized vehicle. Theres literally no advantage to having a giant, complicated, poorly armored, and poorly armed humanoid mech with a massive silhouette.
UKIP's new advertising campaign:
I see they're going for the less racist route.
Such shameless propaganda makes me mad.
I just find it funny that a guy is sitting begging for change in full construction worker gear lol "yep, this is my daily get up when going out to beg on the streets, safety first!!"
I just find it funny that a guy is sitting begging for change in full construction worker gear lol "yep, this is my daily get up when going out to beg on the streets, safety first!!"
Better watch out for them over-enthusiastic charitable types shooting coins at homeless people left right and center. Could lose an eye.
I just find it funny that a guy is sitting begging for change in full construction worker gear lol "yep, this is my daily get up when going out to beg on the streets, safety first!!"
He is also incredibly small based on the scale of that cup.
snip
I bet you vote UKIP lmao. Please post your propaganda somewhere else. [editline]21st April 2014[/editline]
I just find it funny that a guy is sitting begging for change in full construction worker gear lol "yep, this is my daily get up when going out to beg on the streets, safety first!!"
It's meant to show that he's a construction worker out of work, not a literal homeless person wearing construction gear.

[editline]21st April 2014[/editline] It's meant to show that he's a construction worker out of work, not a literal homeless person wearing construction gear.
How to take a joke too seriously, a book by Roll Program. But you know if you really want to be serious about this, if he is a construction worker out of work... wouldn't that make him NOT a construction worker? Since you know he doesn't have the job title anymore. Silly.

Once you find out you've become homeless it is illegal to change your clothes. Didn't you know this?
Another UKIP election propaganda poster. I'm pretty sure I've heard this line before but instead of "now he lives on a reservation" it was "now he has reservations" which would have been funnier. I accidently posted in this in LMAO pics as well. It fits both threads anyway.
BnP or UKIP, who's worse?
