we did this, it's not as impressive, but impossible to get around. the person on the inside opens his door inwards, sees the wall of cups. They are all filled with water. He can't get to the top ones because they extend above the lip of the door frame. (not yet in the picture) they are all taped together in the back, so if one is removed, they all fall.
and they did,
and I got a [b]200 dollar fine[/b] for water damages to the floors below.
also the cups fall inwards due to the tape as well :)
easier to pull off without waking victim

Damn.. I can imagine though. This television series called 'The Sopranos' depicted Alzheimer's effects on the patient as well as the family incredibly well, among some other issues. Being a television show, I know it sounds like bullshit but, it was heartbreaking indeed.
