I get Asian house geckos around my house, they're very common in Queensland, my cat hunts them for food. [editline]9th July 2014[/editline] They feel weird when you catch them, their hands feel exactly like those sticky hands you get out of the coin machines.
Sadly, in order for us to properly terraform Mars, we'd have to basically reignite Mars' core and get it spinning again. Otherwise, we'd basically have colonies consisting of greenhouses. Also, the lower gravity would screw up your health big time. Unless we could somehow build an enclosed artificial environment that simulates Earths gravity/atmospheric pressure 100%.
I think that's gonna happen sooner than later. We're used to think in small terms of <thousands or hundreds of years. But planets have been around for billions of years. Surely if we could keep up the pace, we would have colonized about 30-40% of the solar sistem's terrestrial planets and moons in under 10k generations. I immagine heating up planet cores would be a chore with gazillions of nanobot-servants&big machineries and energy resources further away than fusion(wich is still in development) We'd have probably mined the shit out of earth and other planetoids' by then though. Such a gargantuous effort would probably render some parts of the world uninhabitable(in nowaday's terms) And also, the anatomy of humans (&other animalia) would have probably become drastically engineered, because at a natural pace we can't evolve or adapt as quickly as it is required. As you said, humans as they are now are fragile outside earth, and even on earth we're prone to mass extinction, were the environment conditions to dramatically change.
Sometimes I wonder what would happen to a person that signed that and did their own thing just to piss them off
Lawsuit, probably.
Lawsuit, probably.
I know that, I'm talking about the fallout that would follow up because of it
I know that, I'm talking about the fallout that would follow up because of it
Probably a huge fine that causes the channel owner to go into crippling debt for the rest of his life causing him to lose his fanbase.
Somebody here signed into a Machinima contract years ago, they've basically done fuck all for him except leech off his revenue, not pay him and refuse to let him leave
I know that, I'm talking about the fallout that would follow up because of it
Nothing would happen. You think one guy's going to destabilize Machinima in any way?
You can easily clean that up with snow shovels and or push it all together with big brush brooms.
You can't brush away the pain though.
And each of the camp areas are set up like this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/qAW9AMz.jpg[/t]
That is ridiculously well organised. Every festival I've been to has been a free for all.
You can't brush away the pain though.
That's why there's so many cups on the ground. That kind of brushes it away.
