Haruo Nakajima wears the legs of the "ShodaiJira" 1954 suit. The suit weighed a whopping 220lb (99kg). When as a single piece, Nakajima fainted after no more than 5 minutes, due to the hot lights and lack of ventilation in the suit. It was eventually cut in half, with the "Torso" and "Leg" scenes filmed seperately.

A photo from Richard Mosse's series called 'The Enclave', it was shot entirely on infra-red film, giving the photos unusual colouring. The idea behind this was to give the impression that the hidden conflict in the Congo has now been seen, as the infra-red picks up light in a non-visible spectrum.

If anyone's annoyed with my Godzilla posts, well, I was basically raised on old VHS dubs of Godzilla. Godzilla is the only thing that I can find complete solace in when I'm stressed, because watching a 200 foot tall radioactive lizard curbstomp major cities is a good stress relief.

SokogekiGoji is a throwback to the ShodaGoji (1954) suit. However, it is meant to look far more aggressive and quite literally "demonic", to give it a spiritual feel.

Before anyone asks, many native people in the British and French mandate states (colonies) in the Middle East were amenable to cooperation with Germany because they saw it as an opportunity to shirk their current colonial administrators. They didn't see the Nazis as we understand them now, they judged them on them on their earlier features, as the one Great Power that had eschewed a colonial agenda in the Middle East, and as traditionally aligned cultures exemplified by the closeness of Ottoman Turkey and the Kaiser's Germany.

To add to this, Fistful of Dollars was so inspired by Kurosawas film "Yojimbo" that it's considered an "unofficial and unlicensed remake" of Yojimbo. Kurosawa had said that Dollars was " a fine movie, but it was MY movie", and a lawsuit was evident. They settled out of court however, with Kurosawa getting 15% of the movies revenue.

Yeah. The track consisted of concrete and pexiglass. The ''brakes'' on the carts almost never functioned,and if they did the speeds of the cart could range from supersonic (or as described by an ex-employee ''Death Awaits'') with the brakes off and extremely slow with the brakes on,causing someone to crash into the back of you. As you can imagine,falling off your cart and scraping the concrete/plexiglass track can causes burns and in some cases MELT YOUR CLOTHES. This track killed an employee when he flew out of a corner. Action Park had to deploy haybales because people flew off the track so much. Nasty park.
Edit: also thats not the one from Action Park as that was removed (luckily)
