whats the source for that?
I'm afraid I have none, since tumblr isn't always that good at putting an original source on stuff.
If you had one of them and could paint them, what'd you paint on them? I'd do shark teeth.
I'd paint on a huge grin.
I'd probably do something akin to this: [t]http://www.scifinow.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/dm-albums/The%20Cabin%20In%20The%20Woods%20characters/gaping%20maw%204b-2%20-%20Copy.jpg[/t] Because why just have an average terrestrial mouth when you can have the gaping maw of all your fears personified?
The origin of steampunk, perhaps?
You need steam for steampunk. The balance is a fine one in regards to fashion, most of the time people put too much steam and too little Victorian.

From Marines to the Army?
No, the Marine Raiders and the Army Rangers were seperate things. I think it would be better to say that the Marine Raiders were one of the first US elite commando type units.
Related: For those who don't know, this is one of the doorgunners to one out of the three Blackhawks Sweden purchased. The three crews selected to operate the UH-60's went to the 'States for training which lasted several months, that is also why these gunners (unlike other Swedish gunners) wear some pretty sick american helmets, ballistic masks and harnesses.
You'd be surprised how many foreign aircrews the US trains. I'm on a training base and I've seen guys from all over, from canada to poland. Actually been working with an Iraqi pilot lately.
Weren't they they protagonists in CoD World at War?
They were featured in the first level of the Campaign, then Miller got transferred to the 1st Marine Division for the rest of the American campaign. Marine Raiders are the Blufor team for Multiplayer Pacific maps though
In the 1970s, Villa Epecuén, a tourist village on Lago Epecuén in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, had a population of more 5,000 with 300 thriving businesses and tens of thousands of annual visitors. However, wet weather patterns caused Lago Epecuén to overflow and on November 10, 1985, the nearby dam broke, starting a gradual flood. By 1986, four feet of water covered the streets and by 1993, the town was ten meters underwater. Today, the waters of Lago Epecuén have receded, leaving behind the wreckage of this once bustling vacation spot.
That last one reminds me a lot of Metro 2033.
Reminds me of Osgiliath from LOTR a bit.
