If you can't handle a low quality photo of some falling debris, you don't need to be on the internet.
To be fair there's quite a bit of organs and blood in some photos but look at what thread you are in, there's been tons of violence and shocking images posted here.

okay please stop, this thread has had its fair share of pages full of gore and im pretty sure we are all adult enough to view these pictures.
If you come onto a thread that is generally interesting or historical photos; you are going to have to expect some form of gore or blood here and there...

Yeah sorry, I just scrolled through and canceled the page loading when I saw a... something human lying on the floor, and from the descriptions he gave, I thought the others were gory as hell. Maybe I overreacted, but no need to rate me dumb.

I'm not 100% sure that thing I mentioned near the metal poles is a body part, it just sort of looks like it. There was no description on the picture. Most of those are just from people's photo albums and then I got the info from other websites

War stuck in trees.
But how did it happen?
But how did it happen?
Well over time Mother Nature eats what man has created. if you leave something near a tree, after a few minutes the tree will eat it and thats how mother nature nurtures herself. Thats the #1 cause of lost cell phones and car keys. It's also why you can't build a house in the forrest made out of anything but logs. If you try and make one out of metal or concrete, the tree goblins will come out at night and eat it. These photos were taken in the middle of the act, right as the tree was finishing absorbing all of the guns and helmets.
Or maybe the helmets and guns were dropped next to the tree and remained unmoved for 75 years in the Russian swamps and the trees grew over them.

I ran a reverse image search and it seems they're from the late 19th and early 20th century. (Also one of them has a Union Jack on it, quite obviously not from 900 AD.)

Cool. I'm gonna post some stuff from the Boer wars.

Looks like something the Nazi's did right? Naw, British did this. The term "concentration camp" was actually coined because of this genocide the British committed.

Britain was running a scorched policy against the Boers. Every farm and field they passed, they burnt and salted. Wives and children of Boer guerrilla fighters were rounded up and tossed into concentration camps. Around 27,000 boer civilians were killed in these camps and upwards of 100,000 African natives were killed as well.
Britain did a great job of sweeping it under the rug because its still a relatively unknown genocide. They arrested several journalists trying to report the genocide.

This is true, as far as the starvation thing but the army signs up for that, its a risk of the job, those civilians had no choice. Some accounts of the british soldiers critisize the camps. I like Lindybeige but he is a bit of a nationalist and in this case he is definitely bias.
Also this and other sources neglect the black concentration camps. Around the same number or more of blacks, given worse conditions, less food, worse or no shelter and in some cases no burial, bodies just left to rot and infect the others. The biggest insult is after the wars once the white established themselves they systematically denied the existence of black concentration camps, making it out to be a "white war".

Seems like a British Imperialism apologist. Him saying that the almost as many British field troops dying of disease points to the British being "generous" towards the Boers is completely laughable.
I like how he neglected to mention that families who had fathers and brothers still fighting in the war received halved or no rations.
[editline]14th September 2014[/editline]
If the British genuinely intended to feed and keep the Boer civilians alive, they wouldn't have burned down their fields and crops.
