But how did it happen?

Also, it is said that when the ship reappeared, some sailors were embedded in the metal structures of the ship, including one sailor who ended up on a deck level below that where he began, and had his hand embedded in the steel hull of the ship, as well as some sailors who went "completely bananas". At that point, it is said that the experiment was altered at the request of the Navy, with the new objective being solely to render the Eldridge invisible to radar. None of these allegations have been independently substantiated.
I'd guess it's this. :v:
Bill Murray at John Belushi's funeral.
seeing this picture always makes me kinda sad, my dad and his friends loved john belushi back in the day. no one ever quite like him, if you go to his grave on nantucket there'll always be a few people visiting it and a bunch of beer bottles scattered around it
A Syrian soldier sits among ancient ruins in Palmyra in March of this year. Babi Yar Massacre First action against Jews in the Soviet Union. The SS and some Ukranians put out flyers letting Jews know they were being resettled to a different area.
All Yids[a] of the city of Kiev and its vicinity must appear on Monday, September 29, by 8 o'clock in the morning at the corner of Mel'nikova and Doktorivska streets (near the cemetery). Bring documents, money and valuables, and also warm clothing, linen, etc. Any Yids[a] who do not follow this order and are found elsewhere will be shot. Any civilians who enter the dwellings left by Yids[a] and appropriate the things in them will be shot. —Order posted in Kiev in Russian, on or around September 26, 1941
They were expecting around 6-7,000, but over 30,000 showed up. They were forced to strip and all their valuables were stripped from them, then they were lead down to a ravine and forced to lie down on top of already-executed Jews. Then a SS rear-troop would walk on top them and shoot them in the head.
Not sure if anyone else is interested in these rare 9/11 pictures but here's some more. I personally find them fascinating Right in front of one of the towers, not sure which one though. I'm also pretty sure that's a body part laying next to that piece of wood and the metal poles. [t]http://i.imgur.com/MwDS2.jpg[/t] Another angle. You can still see those red bits everywhere that used to be part of a living breathing person. [t]http://i.imgur.com/pmQ6b.jpg[/t]
There's something about these two photos. It looks like a car bomb went off (again) and it dominates the photo but the real subject sits in the background. The North Tower. The glass is cleaned. The lights are on. It looks completely normal but this is it. It's doomed. It's like getting a fleeing glimpse of something that is about to be gone forever.
just do it
k I've posted about these guys before, but they're a bunch of crazy Russian amateur archaeologists. They go around Russian swamps and forests and dig up a lot of war relics, find old bunkers, and stuff like that. But they find a lot of bodies. lots of them. but on pretty much every expedition they always find a lil ol' hedgehog They also find some really well preserved stuff too
Both posters and viewers on this thread need to have a mature level of discretion. That being said, while posters should not post images that are blatantly shocking, the viewer is expected to be responsible over deciding what types of content they chose to view. Likewise, a poster shouldn't have to sweat over putting fourty or so trigger warnings on his post before sending it, and the viewer isn't expected to be a jaded loser who enjoys gore. I'm sure it's been established that the topic of this thread is basically anything that isn't meant to be humorous, so that means most things go here. It's just a matter of fact that life is full of absurdity, madness, insanity, and the disturbing. I think it is more of a problem with the viewer not being able to handle that fact rather than the poster needing to restrain himself.
Seems like a British Imperialism apologist. Him saying that the almost as many British field troops dying of disease points to the British being "generous" towards the Boers is completely laughable. I like how he neglected to mention that families who had fathers and brothers still fighting in the war received halved or no rations. [editline]14th September 2014[/editline] If the British genuinely intended to feed and keep the Boer civilians alive, they wouldn't have burned down their fields and crops.
That guy is literally the most British man on the planet, he thinks Imperial is far superior to metric, for one. But I love his other vids on history so I can't hate him too much
Looks like the best place to live is North Dakota
If you want a job, North Dakota is a great place. They don't have enough people to fill all their positions, anyone could get a good paying job there. Just hope that flat landscapes and harsh winters are your thing.
some parts of it doesnt look real, like the top left corner. they look like 3d renders.
I find this kinda funny. Excluding my rating, 2/3 people who rated this disagree are regulars in the 3d modelling thread here on FP. :v:
